| Robson runs from the West at Denman Street where you will find the
entrance to Stanley Park
and 18 blocks to the east to the entrance to
BC Place
Stadium and Rogers Arena
. A safe and great stroll anytime of the day or night. A couple
blocks over the Hotel is close to
Pacific
Centre Mall which has
over 200 stores and services stretching over three city blocks both
above and underground. A great place to shop and escape on a rainy day.
It connects with
Vancouver Centre Mall and
major stores Sears and the Bay as well as entrances to
Robson and
Granville street shopping .
Some fabulous places to
eat (we dined at both, Blue
Water Cafe and Cin Cin
and enjoyed both
immensely!).
We found the location excellent. Not only is there a supermarket in the
same building, but both Skytrain and Canada
Line within two blocks of the
hotel. We easily walked to Gastown, Yaletown and Robson Avenue shops.
The location is perfect as we walked around
Yaletown and
Robson Street and then
went into Gastown one evening. When we asked for a cab, we even got a
ride to our restaurant courtesy of the hotel.

Granville Street
Entertainment District is located downtown on what once was
Vancouver's Theatre row. It has now been transformed (thanks to the 2010
Vancouver Olympics ) into Vancouver's Club and party place at night with
a vibrant shopping and restaurant flavor by day. A people watching place
for sure at any one of the sidewalk cafes and bars. |
