the
Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre, it is not located in Downtown Vancouver. It is south of Downtown on the
other side of False Creek, with a beautiful view of Downtown, though. To get to
the major tourist-Attractions you either need a car or you have to use public
transport, which is actually quite good in Vancouver. Restaurants, banks,
convenience stores, etc. are all within walking distance of the hotel.

Ferries a fleet of boats that carry passengers from
Vancouver to
Granville Island and
from Granville Island to Yaletown.
The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from downtown Vancouver but i felt it was a
safer place than the city. There is a London Drugstore a street away, as well as
a starbucks and several ethnic restaurants nearby.
If you have a car
Shopping South Granville, south of West Broadway has many attractive
high end stores, art galleries, stores, boutiques and restaurants.
