really close to Downtown and
Granville Island
. If you want to bus around
Vancouver there are bus stations right at the hotel. If you want to go shopping the closest mall is Pacific Centre Mall, which was a very good mall. |

Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre, it is not located in Downtown Vancouver. It is south of Downtown on the
other side of False Creek, with a beautiful view of Downtown, though. To get to
the major tourist-Attractions you either need a car or you have to use public
transport, which is actually quite good in Vancouver. Restaurants, banks,
convenience stores, etc. are all within walking distance of the hotel. Check out the Aqua Bus Ferries a fleet of boats that carry passengers from Vancouver to Granville Island and from Granville Island to Yaletown. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from downtown Vancouver but i felt it was a safer place than the city. There is a London Drugstore a street away, as well as a starbucks and several ethnic restaurants nearby. If you have a car Shopping South Granville, south of West Broadway has many attractive high end stores, art galleries, stores, boutiques and restaurants.
