Holiday Inn Express Metrotown Guest Recommendations

When I come to Vancouver I love to shop and this is one of the best hotels to crave my shopping weekends. It is located right next to Metrotown connected by a walkway to over 500 stores, you may find it difficult staying in your room. Vancouver is only 15 minutes away by Skytrain, which will whisk you into the city for easy access to downtown Vancouver’s shopping malls.

Stayed at this hotel due to it's location right beside the great Metrotown Mall in Burnaby BC.

The hotel also recommends places to eat nearby which are reasonably priced and tasted good too!

The breakfasts were good with decent space to get a seat. The outdoor swimming pool was good and clean.

Free wireless internet in the room, only once was I unable to get connected. Ample free parking in underground garage beneath the hotel. The workout room is small with old-ish cardio equipment: one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, and a stack of free weights.

As a female traveling solo, I felt alright staying here. Being that Metrotown is right next door, the immediate area is full of dining choices and downtown is a short drive or SkyTrain ride away.
