The hotel is about 20 minutes walking distance from the convention centre and the heart of downtown
when we pulled into the parking garage the valet told us
the fee was waived because we were driving a hybrid. What a nice surprise!
Enjoyed the free wine tastings and the proximity to public transit that can get
you just about anywhere.
It was a five minute walk to catch the water taxi to Granville Island and the hop-on/hop-off trolley car stops in front of the hotel next door.
Take a bike ride ride around
Stanley Park. I rented from Spokes on West Georgia Street. The rental was
only around $9. If you visit Vancouver and the weather is even okay, take this
bike ride all the way around Stanley Park. (Getting
around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).You will not be disappointed! It is
THE most spectacular bike ride I've ever been on. The ocean views are
spectacular!
