| We walked to Robson
Street. several times and passed by a vast array of places to grab a bite to
eat. There were pizza/hamburger joints, convenience stores, trendy bars and
elegant looking restaurants. The Canada Line on the Sky Train now goes from the Airport to a stop that is only a few blocks from the hotel. It saved us a ton of money to take the train instead of a cab and it was really easy! Granville Street Entertainment District is located downtown on what once was Vancouver's Theatre row. It has now been transformed (thanks to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics ) into Vancouver's Club and party place at night with a vibrant shopping and restaurant flavor by day. A people watching place for sure at any one of the sidewalk cafes and bars. |
