There are great local restaurants. I enjoyed an awesome Asian meal at a small
restaurant near Davie and Thurlow--it’s the best I’ve had in a long time--and it
was very inexpensive. I also had really good sushi at a restaurant on Main
Street--good stuff (and it didn’t break the bank!)
It was within blocks of everything and the spa is to die for.
The location is excellent and serviced by two hop on and off
tourist bus services. You can also walk to just about any location in downtown
Vancouver. We got a taxi to the airport for four people and lots of luggage for
$25.00!
The Beyond Restaurant/lounge was a very relaxing place
to have a meal.
Impressive contemporary reception, modern lounge, great bar, nice restaurant
serving a decent breakfast. Well equipped spa and relaxing pool.
The good part of our stay was the Yuk Yuks experience. That I can
definitely recommend
