Arriving on a rainy cold night, we were checked in quickly and spent one
comfortable night before an early morning ferry ride. Rooms were very clean and
comfortable. Real value for our dollar. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We only chose this hotel because we only needed one night to get some sleep
before we drove on to Whistler. No, I wouldn't stay here for any kind of
vacation. It's location is convenient, but it's near a busy street, so traffic
noise can be an issue for light sleepers. If you plan on staying there when
you're in need of AC, beware the window unit is very loud. For the price in
North Vancouver, it was ok.

We stayed here for one night prior to catching an early ferry to Vancouver
Island. The Cons, room was a bit on the small side and there was a fair bit of
noise in the early evening. The Pros, the room was comfortable and my son wanted
to bring the mattress with us, very comfortable. Would I stay here again, yes.

1) Very helpful & friendly staff. 2) Computer & WiFi access available. 3)
Parking available & accessible. 4) Beds & linens very very clean .... NO
BEDBUGS! 5) Complimentary news paper. 6) Cable TV 7) Extension of my stay made
easily - staff flexible. On the "needs improvement" end... 1) We had trouble
with our door/ keys. The door sticks and we had a number of keys, but none
worked easily. 2) Bathroom was freezing! 3) An electric tea kettle would have
been nice. 4) TV stations limited. 5) Restaurant has pretty unhealthy menu. For
the price, however, I have no complaints!

I found the staff very helpful. The location was perfect for visiting with
family.
I would like to see a small kettle for tea.

discounted as far as I know...however, we will book again....

We only stayed in Vancouver for 1 night and this place was a great location for
both a visit into the town centre and then to head north into the Rockies and
onward to Whistler. It is right on the Sea to Sky highway, highway 99 which is
an amazing road, breathtaking scenery and lakes and snow capped mountains. Very
friendly staff and great views of the Vancouver skyline very nearby.

The two of us - myself and a very lively gentleman in his late Eighties had just
arrived in VANCOUVER CITY, British Columbia, CANADA.
Earlier that day, Tuesday 20th September 2011 we had left the USA State of
Washington by Ferry to Victoria, on Vancouver Island and - travelling all day -
we
were very happy that our "Yellow Cab" driver called RAYMOND has recommended we
try to find accommodation on the North Shore (Vancouver City). The reason for
this was
that we wished to - on our last day but one - in North America - to experience
the famous TRAIN RIDE up to WHISTLER and back. We knew the "ROCKY MOUNTAINEER"
train only departs from the NORTH VANCOUVER Train Station.
Without an advanced booking the very kind MANAGER of Best Western CAPILANO INN &
SUITES allocated us a ground-floor room for the 2 nights that we required
