Hotel review of the Comfort Inn and Suites North

My husband and I stayed for three nights. Initially we were concerned about not
getting a room in downtown Vancouver. Now we are very happy with the decision we
made to stay in North Vancouver. The location of the Comfort Inn was a great
home base. It is only a short drive away from Grouse Mountain home of the Grouse
Grind. Public transportation was easily accessible with one bus stop directly in
front of the property and another approximately a block away. We had a rental
car but found it much easier to take the bus over the Capilano Bridge into
downtown Vancouver. We paid 2.50 for the bus ride and did not have to worry
about parking issues downtown. There were several restaurants within walking
distance.
Overall, the facilities were clean and well kept. Our room was large and
included a kitchenette. Even though the hotel appeared to be full, we always had
an available parking spot. The free wifi access was always available and
operating at a decent speed.
The breakfast was not elaborate and your basic continental style. It was enough
to get our day started.
The staff members were very knowledgeable about the public transportation system
and area attractions. If your interested in a particular event or attraction be
sure to stop by the front desk and ask about coupons or discounts. There were
several discounts for attractions and restaurants we would not have known about
if we did not ask the front desk prior to heading out.
This place is a good bargain including parking, breakfast and a great location
all in one.

We enjoyed our 7-day stay here in Vancouver at this great hotel. Minutes from
the Capilano Suspension bridge, and well located to visit Whistler.
Great variety in the free breakfast, courteous and polite personnel, very clean
premises, clean pool and spa. We enjoyed the quietness of the hotel and the
outside terrace. All of this at a very reasonable price.

Clean ,comfortable rooms.
Free breakfast, great location on the Capilano road, close to Marine drive and
Park Royal shopping center.
Immediate access to Hwy 1 and the Route99 to downtown.

This was our third stay overnight in the Vancouver area, each time at a
different hotel. This one was the best choice - nice renovated rooms, good
location, good value for the money, breakfast included. I would definitely stay
here again.

It was an excellent, clean place to stay! we got in at 11pm and the staff was
very nice and welcoming! We would stay there again in a heart beat! |
