We booked for the one night through hotels.com; this was our only mistake. The reservation did not make it to the hotel but full marks for the front desk in the way it was handled. We learned that the confirmation number hotels.com gave us was of no use when we tried to check it so my advice is to confirm directly with the hotel in advance to make sure the service used to book has made it through to the hotel's system; this could have been a disaster had the hotel been booked full.
We were on the 9th floor looking west over the Fraser river so the view was nice (see photos) The only downside to this location is the main line of the railway is behind the hotel and there was quite a lot of noise during the night from this. The other minor gripe was the air con units directly below us; mechanical noise all night long.
The room was spacious and the king bed comfy. Bathroom clean as can be with new fixtures.
If you can try and stay in a room facing east and be sure to try the adjoining Boathouse restaurant for dinner; expensive but very good.

This hotel is designed to remind you of a ship and it is partly built over the Fraser River. Our upgraded room at the end of the building was right over the water and had a small balcony. The views of the boats on the river and boardwalks and bridges in the distance was quite nice.
The hotel check in and check out was very fast with no issues. Everything worked in the nicely decorated room. The bed, pillows, and comforter were excellent. It was generally very quiet with a little noise from the constantly running bathroom fan and some noise from the adjacent pub on the river edge. We did have a great sleep.
Nothing major on the downside but a couple minor items. I did not like the bathroom lighting, and the toilet is too small although there is plenty of room. The sliding glass door to the balcony did not slide very well.
There is a great connected restaurant (The Boathouse).
The hotel price was good.
If I want to stay in that area again, I will stay here.

Great hotel and great value”
This hotel is really nice and represents an excellent value. A short 30 minute skytrain ride (located close to station) and you are directly downtown. Restaurant was good but a bit slow. The loyalty program requires a lot of nights before you accumulate much, but overall it is a great place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference. The room was amazing. It seems that all rooms have river views. the furnishing are lovely and very contemporary. This stylish hotel is hidden in New Westminster but downtown Vancouver is a few minutes away on the skytrain.

A Hidden Jem in Fraser Valley area
We went to the hotel for our 2nd year anniversary. Due to our crazy work schedules, we we weren’t able to go anywhere too far. The location was quite convenient to us. Hwy 1 was 5-10 minutes away from the hotel, and there were variety of local restaurants and bar near hotel just on E. Columbia. Although the neighbor wasn’t the best at night time but was great to walk around the boardwalk along the river was quite pleasant. We even had 20% off promotion and the price was great also. Hotel seemed to me going under renovation, but we stayed on the weekends and none of the renovation were done during the time so that was nice. Staffs were great. We couldn’t access the fridge because it was missing a key but less than a minute after we called the front desk, a staff came to our door with a key. The bed we had had the inn and the quay signature purple painting headboard, and the mattress and the bedding were great! Im a fussy sleeper, but I was able to sleep like a baby! The view from our room was surprisingly good. We stayed on 4th floor and had a corner room where we had a view of the river as well as Westminster Savings building. The AC from WS building were quite noisy but wasn't’ too bad. The hotel was going through renovation so when we sat out on our balcony, we could smell the paint mingled with the smell of the river. Overall we had a good time at Inn at the Westminster quay. It was a nice weekend getaway. I can’t wait to return after when the renovation is done.

Enjoyed our stay.
Finding the hotel was a bit difficult, but once we were there we enjoyed everything about our stay. The wine and cheese in the lobby on the day we arrived was a bonus!

I found the hotel to be very crowded with ridiculous over the top guests in the lobby. Upon entering the hotel my luggage accidentally bumped one of the people in the lobby whom seemed very tipsy at that point I apologized and in return got a very cold glare from the women an a snotty under your breathe remark. I walked up to the guest services desk and asked what was going on and they said it was a chambers of commerce awards gig. I have and still have no idea what that is but I honestly think they should have been more respectful to the people who are actually paying money to stay in the hotel. So from the start my stay at the hotel was complete crap just from people whom do not even work there even though I over heard what I though was the gm of the hotel with one of the guests and she seemed to have had a tad to much to drink. None the less the staff at front desk and the bellman were very helpful and nice And probably were the best part of my stay. The beds were uncomfortable, the river smelt of sewage and the trains are outrageous! I will not stay there again unless they get there hotel in order. As for that cold stared elderly lady with the over processed and heavily sprayed blonde hair, you should learn your manners and get off your make believe thrown. I just cannot believe they let people in like that... So ridiculous!
