These Vancouver Hotel reviews are the subjective opinion of a Guest and not of Allure Hotels any

I always have stayed in Fairmont Hotels in Vancouver. This was the first time
that I have been in the Marriot.
And as the same in Halifax, it was a great stay. The building is very open, a
lots of glass, so you get the feeling that the city is coming to you and you can
go to the city.
It's situated in a quiet surrounding but downtown and close to the cruise
center. A 7 minute walk. And in two minutes you are at the water side, close to
the floatplanes.
Open reception and good staff. You can only go to your room with using your
roomcard in the elevator. Oterwise you won't get up.
The rooms are spacious. The windos are all glass, so when you are situated at
the highest level, you have marvellous views.
There is a high speed internet connection for a daily rate around CA$16.
The bathroom is spacious with a bath and a seperate shower.
There is enough space for your clothes etc.
I went one morning to the swimming pool. Well maintained, good facilities, nice
spa and open 24 hours.
I had breakfast there every morning and you can choose between buffet or a a la
carte. Perfect!
I really and truly enjoyed my stay there and Marriot is on my list to advice
other people.
At the corner you have a coffee shop with the best sandwiches and coffee in
Vancouver. If you see how long the queue is before the shop.. :)

We have been going to Whistler for 7 years now and each time have stayed at the
same hotel whilst stopping over in Vancouver. However, this year we tried the
Pinnacle and were very impressed. The room wasn't overly big but more than
sufficient for our stopover. It is very near to Stanley Park etc and a very easy
walk into the hub of the city. The gym was great and the bed, as always in the
Marriotts, was just lush! The public rooms and the bedrooms were spotlessly
clean and the separate shower was fab.
We did not eat in the restaurant but it did look good. We will no doubt be
staying at the hotel next year as we found the value excellent and booked it
through BA when we booked the flights. Enjoy!!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pinnacle and we have nothing but great
things to say about our time there. We were fortunate enough to be on the top
floor and the view was spectacular. The staff was very attentive and thoughtful,
from the doormen to the concierge and front desk to the cleaning staff, and they
do a great job with the little touches that make a big difference. (For example,
whenever my husband returned from a run, the doorman offered him a chilled
bottle of water.) The room was very comfortably appointed and clean. We were
also glad to find that the Hotel Location was very convenient (we were able to walk or
catch a bus just about everywhere we wanted to go). I would gladly stay at this
hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel prior to leaving from Vancouver on a cruise to Alaska.
When I made the reservation I mentioned that we were starting our honeymoon. Our
room had a great view of the Bay. Before we were in the room too long, they sent
us a good bottle of wine and some choclolate covered strawberries. We were very
pleased with everything about our stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a Rockies/cruise package. The
bedrooms were amazing, huge bed, soo comfortable, we were on the 30th floor and
could see the waterfront and Stanley Park. The staff were so helpfull and
efficient and friendly. We ate breakfast at the hotel and found it quite keenly
priced for a hotel of this type, a Canadian Breakfast which is like our full
English was 15 dollars, a wonderfull Granolla Parfait (granolla layered with
youghurt and fresh strawberries) was 7 dollars. We found it very conviently
situated for the skytrain, 9 dollars for a days unlimited use, also valid for
the bus. Nearby Urban Fayre deli had amazing sandwiches/cakes/saladbowls/coffe
to eat in or take out , and check out the food hall! pity you cant bring food
back to UK as this shop is really something. Went on e evening to Joe Fortes
Seafood/Chop House, excellent, about 10minutes easy walk.
Vancouver is a great city, everyone so nice, dont think Canadians know how to be
rude!

I just completed a wonderful stay at the Pinnacle Hotel in downtown Vancouver.
The staff at the hotel were very hospitable and the room decor was clean,
modern, and luxurious. The ONLY gripe I have with the hotel is the ridiculous
charge they have for internet (which they group with the phone).
Otherwise.
You can't beat the Hotel Location for business, right immediately next to the towering
skyscrapers of the Financial District yet also near the posh Coal Harbour
neighbourhood.
And being in the big city, there's plenty to see and do and all of it is within
the confines of the downtown peninsula core! Vancouver is my favourite city in
the world and the Pinnacle Hotel is definitely one of the city's best be it
business or pleasure!

Stayed for three nights on Marriott points. Great, safe and central Hotel Location to
all downtown Vancouver destinations. Nice hotel, great views from rooms.

Although the Marriott Pinnacle is not what I'd consider a 5-star hotel, it
easily gets a 5/5 here when considering the value factor. The Hotel Location was
within an easy walk of shopping, dining, and the water, the staff was friendly,
check-in was efficient, parking is expensive but easy to access, the room was
nice with amazing views and better linens than expected, and the $15.95/day for
in-room internet and unlimited long-distance calling to the U.S. was a deal
considering how ridiculous hotel phone charges usually are. My 5 rating is based
on the $139 rate for all of the above that I found on the Marriott.com site by
pre-paying (non-refundable) the room and tax. I'd have gone elsewhere for over
$200/night, but $139 was a steal.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our holiday. What a great hotel. It is
located in the Business District but we had fabulous views from our hotel room.
The room was large (especially by European standard), very clean and had
everything we needed. The valet parking is a must and only costs a few dollars
more. The Concierge was also excellent and offered great advice on what to do
and where to eat. One night we decided we wanted to try a real fish restaurant
and the hotel booked us in at "Joe Fortes" and this is a must - although it was
very busy, so booking is a must.
We felt the only downside to the hotel was the bar area and this was very
"business" orientated and although we tried it a couple of times, we never felt
comfortable.
This is our first time to Vancouver, having toured the Rockies, and we were
pleasantly surprised. The city is very clean and the Hotel Location of the hotel was
great. Will definately stay here again when visiting Vancouver.

I stayed at the Marriott in the heart of downtown Vancouver for 5 nights and had
a very pleasant stay. What sets this particular Marriott apart from other top
quality hotels is the extra effort by the front desk staff to make their guests
feel special and appreciated.
My stay was jointly for business and pleasure and the front desk staff assisted
in numerous ways whenever I needed help by sending faxes or offering tips to
great restaurants in the area. Upon entering the lobby, I was regularly greeted
by my proper name which was really a nice touch that I appreciated. This type of
service is uncommon in most hotels in this day and age.
The room was very comfortable and as always, Marriott supplied an outstanding
bed.
The valet parking team always had my vehicle ready on time and assisted loading
my snowboard equipment in the car whenever I left for the slopes. All in all, I
would highly suggest this hotel when staying in Vancouver.
