We greatly enjoyed the outstanding personal service. My wife and I have
stayed at some very good hotels throughout North America and beyond. I
would dare say that we have had some of the most pleasant interactions
with hotel staff here L'Hermitage. The room itself was also outstanding
with a wonderful terrace. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel
for travelers on a romantic and sightseeing trip to Vancouver.

We stayed four nights in a 1 bedroom signature suite. Hotel & staff were
wonderful. Location is great & the breakfast scrambled eggs were
amazing. IGA right next door was very handy. Loved this hotel.

We read about LH on Expedia where they were listed as a top performer
and they didn't disappoint. I can not say enough good things about this
hotel. High quality accommodations, faultless house cleaning, quiet and
relaxing, outstanding customer service. Friendly, warm and the little
dog hippo (the canine concierge) just added to the wonderful atmosphere.
Room Tip: They are all great rooms. We travel overseas every year and I
have neve stayed in such a clean and spotless hotel.

We stayed at the L'Hermitage for three nights as part of a 7 week around
the world trip. We had 4 to 5 star accommodation in all the major cities
including London, Paris, Rome, Zurich, New York, Toronto etc, and this
one hotel stood above all the rest in terms of the exceptional and
personalized service we received. This was through all levels and roles
within the hotel, from the porter, to concierge, front desk to the
breakfast service staff. Simple things like staff remembering your name
and going out of their way to be polite and make you feel welcome. The
actual rooms were quite spacious with lovely facilities and very
comfortable. The location is a short walk from the main shopping areas
and Canada place etc. Hippo the canine concierge is a cute touch. Would
highly recommend for a Vancouver stay over some of the larger hotel
chains. Extra mention goes to Mitchell (porter) and Justin (breakfast
service).

We stayed at the hotel this past weekend. I can honestly say that this
was my best experience ever at a hotel. The staff went above and beyond
to be friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the pool was
excellent - even in December! The location is also very nice as well
having free wifi in the room. I truly couldn't think of anything more
they could have done to make our trip enjoyable.
Room Tip: The mini boutique room was very nice. It had a nice view of
the pool area and was right down the hall from the lounge area.

We are a family of 5 and had an extremely comfortable 4 night stay in
their 2 bedroom suite. Kudos to Jean-Michel & Hippo, Raymond, Elaisha,
Mitch and a super housekeeping team for being so helpful and friendly.
We felt most at home and strongly recommend to all who plan to visit
Vancouver. Great location with Japadog and Viet-Sub eateries and Sears,
Hudson Bay, Holt Renfrew nearby. Easy access to the main attractions.
The team deserves a great pat on their backs for their great work
attitude. Special thanks to Jean-michel for going out of your way for
us.

I recently stayed at l'Hermitages for a night while on business in
Vancouver. It was a great choice! The hotel staff are very friendly, the
place has a nice, comfortable feel, and my room was clean and well
appointed.
The hotel has a spacious lounge/breakfast area that I could easily spend
more time in. Read, have glass of wine, watch TV - do any or all of
these in the lounge. Breakfast was very good (the granola is a must
have) with ample cold and hot choices. I had fruit, yogurt and granola
with orange juice and coffee - morning papers and a smile from the
waitress: good way to start the day!
My wife and I will be visiting Vancouver later this year and i made
arrangements for our 3 night stay. I actually believe it is the perfect
spot for a holiday visit. The combination of it being close to many
downtown attractions and the room having a separate sitting room is
really appealing and when combined with an attractive price it is
perfect.
The management were great in making sure I was happy with my stay and
went out of their way to help plan our return.
Overall I can just say with no hesitation that I have found my new
favourite hotel in Vancouver: value and comfort - a winning combination. |
