We had to catch an early flight and stayed here to avoid a long drive and
morning rush traffic. Outstanding in every conceivable way. The staff bent over
backwards and the room was a dreamscape. Subsequently I have had dinner here
while waiting for a flight about three or four times. This is a Vancouver
treasure !

We stayed here overnight after arriving from Quebec and before leaving for
Australia. It was wonderful to just have to walk through the airport without
catching cabs etc. and even better the next morning when we just wandered
casually downstairs, after a leisurely breakfast, to check in.
We were upgraded to the executive floor - not sure why - maybe because we had
stayed in a Fairmont earlier in our trip. This gave us complementary drinks and
nibbles, the use of a computer in the lounge, and breakfast in the morning.
Although the breakfast was only advertised as continental there was a huge
choice and two hot dishes. Excellent.
We had dinner in the restaurant, not expecting much but needing to eat
somewhere. It was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip with superb
service.
As others have said, it is a very quiet hotel. We heard no noise from outside or
other rooms and had a wonderful nights sleep to set us up for the long journey
home.

Stayed one night here as I had an early morning flight the next day (the hotel
is attached directly to the airport). The room was modern and immaculate.
Despite a full view of planes taking off and landing, there was no noise
whatsoever. My spouse also had a spa treatment during our stay, and enjoyed it
very much. The Hotel Location of this hotel means that there isn’t much else going on
in the area, and it is far from Vancouver’s main tourist attractions, but it
suited my purpose perfectly.
Tip: there is a reasonably well-stocked liquor store on the ground level of the
domestic terminal, in case one wants to enjoy a glass or two without paying the
higher markups a hotel would charge

Stayed at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport for 3 nights, paid about CAD183 on
average per night. We got a special rate as a friend works for the Fairmont
group. The hotel is linked with the airport which I find really convenient.
The room is of good size with a really nice, big bathroom, separate bath n
shower. The beds and pillows are comfortable. We had a twin room n both beds are
proper queen size beds opposed to single beds. The air con was a bit noisy and
we turned it down, but then the room got really stuffy so we have to turn it up
again. Otherwise can't really find any fault with the room.
I had breakfast but wouldn't recommend it as it is quite expensive but the
selection really disappointing. I had to leave this jacket at the hotel for my
friend to pick up when she returned to Vancouver. This was done but took quite a
while to sort out. Otherwise, staff was really friendly and quite helpful.
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from Richmond Centre. I stayed one night
at the Waterfront Fairmont and found the Vancouver Airport much, much nicer.

We stayed Fairmont Vancouver Airport after a long flight from Australia. Loved
the fact that the hotel is actually within the airport...the last thing we
wanted to do was find a cab and head out somewhere as we had an early morning
transfer from the airport the next day.
We didn't have a booking, but we thought we'd try our luck and just head up to
the front desk and enquire about a room for the night. The wonderful concierge
was more than happy to go through room options with us and explain all about the
hotel. We even got a great discount. The check-in was fast and easy and we were
in our room in less than 15 minutes.
We had a large room with a massive floor to ceiling soundproof window, huge
marble bathroom with jacuzzi, doulbe vanity, large shower and king size bed. It
had everything we needed. And it was quiet.
I can't give a detailed comment on the the hotel facilities as we didn't use
any, but from what we saw, it has everything you would want. The health club
looked fabulous. Quite impressive as it is a true luxury hotel, but within a
busy, noisy airport.
