This is an excellent hotel in a great downtown location in Vancouver. We were pleased with
our room, the amenities (love the robes!), and the staff. The wine tasting was a
nice break after a hectic day and management was very attentive.
But the greatest reason to stay here is the restaurant, Tulio. I often tend to
avoid hotel restaurants but this was our best dinner during our nine day trip.
We were originally going somewhere else but we met Chef Todd in the elevator and
he convinced us to try it. No regrets!
One more thing . . . when we pulled into the parking garage the valet told us
the fee was waived because we were driving a hybrid. What a nice surprise!

Nice enough hotel - enjoyed the free wine tastings and the proximity to public
transit that can get you just about anywhere. However, I would caution couples
against booking a "double" room. It has two double beds, which seem a lot
smaller than what might be considered a double in the US. Thankfully, my
significant other and I enjoy sleeping close, but for those sleepers who like
more space opt for the room with the king size bed. A big plus was the GIANT
jacuzzi tub, it was wonderful to sit and relax in after a long day of sight
seeing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park
Vancouver.

After staying here it is humorous to read the website about a "Wine" Inspired
hotel.. Someone must have been drinking alot of cheap wine when they designed
this number!
We stayed at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver for two nights and had the same problems everyone
else is having issues with and wouldn't recommend. Issues are:
A) The HVAC system is old and antiquated for the property making rooms smell
like smoke not to mention any clothes you have in your suitcase
B) The furnishings are tired. The hotel needs to invest some money back into the
bedding, fixtures, and carpets and decor.
C) Small rooms that again need more attention.
The positives are that you're walking distance to the ferry over to Granville
and the beaches. Vancouver in general is very walkable you just have to be
street savy and and I wouldn't advise any night jaunts by yourself.

This hotel was okay, but definitely not 3 1/2 stars. The room was small, smoky,
and outdated. The downtown location was very central for what we wanted to do, but the
street/block itself (including the surrounding views from the room) were not
ideal. The staff was nice though and did offer us a new room.

Definitely would not recommend the Executive Hotel Vintage Park. The A/C was not working in our room
and the only suggestion from staff was to leave the windows open. No air
circulation and sounds of city traffic all night long. Needless to say we didn't
get any rest. The 2nd night we were moved to another room and the only reason we
stayed was because we couldn't find a room anywhere else. The beds were
terrible, not comfortable at all. While this hotel was rated 3.5, we didn't feel
it came close to a 2.
Hotel
Staff was friendly enough, but I had hoped they would have offered some
consolation for the heat discomfort.
We travel a lot and have never written a review before - that's how bad it was!

Not a bad deal @ $185 per night, close to Granville Island and a short walk to
English Bay. Wouldnt stay again though. Flea bites!! ( they allow pets) , broken
coffee pot which they replaced, bad restaurant, but pleasant staff. I'll stay at
the Best Western across the street next time.

island too. We extended our stay it was so good.

Very helpful front desk when we discovered that we were not booked in, and our
TA had only recommended this hotel, not booked it. Also very helpful in storing
our luggage after our cruise, before check-in, and the next day after our
check-out, before our late night flight out of Vancouver.
We found the room to be very small, and the beds in that room to be very hard,
resulting in very little sleep. There was also some road noise, but not
excessive.

I spent 4 nights as the Executive Hotel (June 10-14) and found it to be sufficient for my
purpose and fair value for what I paid ($112/night).
ROOM: The room was really small but clean. The bed is the most comfortable I
have slept on and I would stay at this hotel again just for that alone. Although
very small (reminded me of Parisian hotel rooms), the room had everything I
needed. However, I would suggest that the hotel update their furniture and
information desk-packets as the furniture was nicked up and the info package had
stains and typos. With regards to noise as addressed by previous reviewers, I
was on the 9th floor and did not hear any noise of the highway ramp outside.
Vancouver Location: The Executive Hotel Vintage Park Location was fine – I have no complaints in that regard. It was a
five minute walk to catch the water taxi to Granville Island and the
hop-on/hop-off trolley car stops in front of the hotel next door. Also I took
local transit to the Airport and the bus stop was only 2 blocks away on the same
side of the street and cost me $2.50 to get to the airport. I walked across town
from the hotel to Canada Place (the opposite side of town) and it took me a
comfortable 20-25 minutes - so for people who like to explore on foot the
Hotel Location of this hotel should not be a problem. There are also a couple of
convenience stores around the corner.
RESTAURANT: I managed to eat at the restaurant one night as I was too tired to
venture out again and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and
the food was good and fairly priced.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel next time I visit Vancouver but only if I
received the same price or very similar. For anything more than what I paid this
hotel is not worth it. I think it’s a great budget hotel and for people who just
want a safe and clean hotel to get a good night sleep it fits the bill.
