Nice room. Friendly staff. Parking kinda pricey but it is in the
downtown core so I guess it should be expected. Easy walking to Skytrain
stations whick we used alot. Wifi only in the lobby. Cabled internet in
room.

Stayed here with 3 friends, all had a great stay, little hard to find.
Friendly service, but the price was great for what we received. Would
stay here again for sure.

The hotel itself is in a very convenient location close to everything,
but it is also located in a place where you feel uncomfortable going out
alone at night. Unfortunately, there is nothing that the hotel staff can
do in regards to the vagrants that like to hang around outside. At one
point I was followed right into the lobby by someone asking for money.
My room had an old man smell to it, but it appeared to be clean. The
hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

My wife & I stayed for 1 night at the Delta Vancouver Suites, the room
was huge and had a very comfortable bed and excellent facilities.
Spotless room and the staff were very friendly. The hotel itself is very
handy for downtown and just around the corner from "Gastown" and its
various types of shops . Eating in the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey
but if you walked down to Canada Place Cruise Terminal there was a food
mall serving various types of food from Chinese to Cuban. Breakfast and
lunch were plentiful and cheap.

The service was outstanding. The Delta Vancouver Suites hotel was a
great choice for our family of four. Nice open rooms. Close to the
Seabus and to Gastown. We wished we had more than one night to stay here
& explore Vancouver!

The staff at the Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel are, undoubtedly, the most
friendly, genuine and sincere hotel staff I have ever met. Every staff member
that we encountered during our stay was super cheerful and very helpful. My
boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights (Dec. 25 - 31) and enjoyed every part
of our hotel stay: from the A+ staff, to the big, spacious room with a mountain
& water view, to the yoga studio in the fitness centre.
Upon check-in, we were shocked that the hotel upgraded us to a deluxe king suite
(2 levels above the delta suite that we were expecting). Our corner room, Rm
1613, had a breathtaking view of the North Shore mountains, harbor and
cityscape. The king size bed was so comfortable and the bedroom super quiet. The
bathroom was very spacious and spotless clean. Our suite had a separate bedroom,
with a sitting area that came with 2 arm chairs, work desk & chair, along with a
mini-fridge and in-room safe.
The neighborhood may seem a bit quiet and somewhat remote, but it is ideal. The
hotel basically intersects Downtown, Gastown, Chinatown and Yaletown - so the
location couldn't be better. We enjoyed superb dining at Steamworks (RB Cream
Ale is nice), Salt (superb cheese & cured meats), Guu (order the sashimi salad)
and Medina Cafe (fresh marmalade & waffles are a must). Trees Organic Coffee in
Gastown is the best for coffee & a snack to start the day. The hotel restaurant,
Manhattan, is great for breakfast too. Our stay was the best and we owe it to
the staff that take care of the guests and the hotel. Thanks for the wonderful
stay.

I've always thought that front-line hotel personnel have a major impact in
determining guest service satisfaction. The Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel is a
perfect example of the application of this line of thought. Great quality
interaction between front-line personnel and guests, exceeding all service
delivery expectations. The amazing thing is that the hotel regards all employees
as front-line personnel, all being empowered to make guest service delivery
decisions. I will be a repeat Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel guest!

We can't say enough of our experience at Delta. Not only were the rooms
comfortable, but the staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Nowhere else
have we ever felt such genuine warmth from hotel staff. Even my 6 year old
daughter commented on how "nice those people were". Thank you Alison, Nathalie,
Rick, and two other staff who's name we can't recall (awesome nonetheless:)).
You all made our experience in Vancouver one to remember. Great cookies too :D
Other info: Vancouver is an awesome spot for Christmas activities.

I was booked in this hotel for a week and found it to be lovely. I had a
beautiful room with a great view of the city. It's very modern and stylish. The
service was fantastic, but I was amazed to find out that there was no laundry
available. It would cost me about $200 to do a load. The hotel recommended I
take a taxi across town to a laundromat. I'd say that's the only thing missing.

I have been to the Delta Suites twice now, once in 2007, this time 2009. It's so
good I will be returning in 2010 when I am back in Vancouver. (I must be mad -
Perth to Vancouver is about 36 hours in transit...but it's a great city to
visit, though these two times it was work).
Now, here's the key thing: first time I went, I was on my own and was really
happy. This time my wife - a notoriously picky hotel visitor - came with me and
I was a little nervous she might not concur with my choice. But, in fact, she
did. She loved it. It helped that we stayed in a relatively expensive club room,
with free breakfast in the lounge, free net and so on, but the room was big
(this is what you pay for at the Delta) - two separate rooms, essentially. I
really can't fault anything about the place - usual Canadian politeness, but
actually genuine; cookie on arrival - great; FREE water (I mean how cool is
that? I don't care if I am paying for it on the check, it just is so much more
friendly to get free bottled water each night). Staff were really accommodating.
Nothing was too much trouble - and I think people need to tune in to the fact
that polite, friendly staff are better than fawning, tip-hungry flunkies. The
rooms - if you can get up to a high floor have brilliant views.
Location is good - not perfect (that would on the water front), but very close
to Gastown and buses etc nearby. Definitely recommend it for busy in the city,
it's a bit of a walk to the shopping areas however.
Probably the only query I have on this is cost... but it's what you pay for. I'd
definitely recommend you spend some more money and get a high room and, if
possible a corner room - I stayed in one last time (2007) and they have floor to
ceiling windows on two sides... utterly delightful. So...if you want cheap and
serviceable, no; but if you want genuine service and a really lovely view,
definitely yes.

All I can say is: great staff: From the houseman who willingly set up the little
one's playpen to the chef who was willing to go the extra mile in chopping up
our little girl's pancakes over breakfast, the staff here made the stay
excellent. The guest services/valet guy at the front, someone from the UK I
think, was really striving to go out of his way in packing the car up or helping
us out and in all, the front line staff made this a real treat. As a long
standing tourism employee myself, I felt this Delta really did exceed service
expectations.
All the best to the management in their successful recruitment of a terrific
team.
