My wife and I went on a Mexican cruise in Jan 2011and stayed at the
Delta Airport Inn before flying to San Diego. We were able to leave our
vehicle in their secure parking lot and take the shuttle to the airport
in the morning. Their beds are to die for. the night before we flew out
and on our return were two of the best sleeps we have ever had, even
better than our own beds and the cruise ship beds. Kudos to Delta. If we
lived closer, we would probably go stay for a night just because. The
staff and service were also exceptional.

This hotel is fantastic. Good size suites, very clean. If you have a
room with lounge access, don't miss George, the seagull. He is
hilarious! This hotel is top for me in Vancouver. Not too posh, a block
form the skytrain station, fantastic base to walk to Stanley Park. I do
return every year and get the same, wonderful treatment from friendly
and couteous staff.

We always stay at the Delta for the convenient location downtown. We
have never been disappointed with the service. The staff goes above and
beyond to accommodate your needs. They usually upgrade us at no cost
which is great! Our last stay we got to have a floor to ceiling window
room for a fraction of the cost to upgrade. The accommodations are
pretty much the same as the Fairmont , but you get less of the snobby
guests. Overall I would recommend the Delta Vancouver Suites to Anyone
adn everyone. LOVE IT! we also love that it's close to restaurants and
just a few steps to get our Tim's coffee in the morning.

Stay at this hotel often, truly enjoy the location, quality of the room
and the staff and speaking of the staff, they are FANTASTIC!!! Always
helpful, with an eagerness to assist and always great you with a hearty
hello and a wonderful smile.
The rooms are comfortable, appointed nicely and well maintained.
Considering the price, I think they are the best price for the service
for downtown Vancouver. You could easily pay much more for a slight
better room, but hard press to find better service for the money.

OK, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life, but I have never stayed
at a hotel were the staff was trained and encouraged to treat it's
guests like absolute gold before. I booked this hotel based on the
reviews of some of the others and I have not be disappointed. The rooms
are very nice mini-suites with every possible feature thoughtfully
planed and executed. But it's the staff that really makes the
difference. We stayed on one of the "Signature Level" floors and went to
the Club Lounge for breakfast every morning and for drinks and
appetizers every evening. The staff running the lounge were so sweet and
nice. One night my wife mentioned that she was feeling a little cold.
Later that evening, the hotel sent up a bowl of wonderful chicken soup
to make her feel a little better! You won't find that kind of service
and attention in any corporate hotel I have ever stayed in.

Enjoyed a weekend stay. Great location close to cruise ship docks, sea
wall and Gastown. Very nice staff in reception. Asked why we came to
Vancouver and we mentioned our anniversary and was upgraded to Privlege.
Parking and entrance off the laneway is odd and additional parking for
pick up and rop offs would be better.
Nice room with view. Breakfast was very good however, personal beef, why
do people think it is ok to enter and stay in the breakfast room wearing
just their bathrobe and no shoes. Most people really don't want to know
if or if you did not take a shower nor look at barefeet while they are
eating. Staff should be told to kindly address this for the sake of
other guests or place a sign asking for proper dress or offer them room
service.

This hotel is a block from the skytrain station. The staff is friendly ,
restaurant is good and you can walk to get coffee and food outside the
hotel. The rooms are great with separate sleeping area from the main
space. It is not noisy, good insulation and heating system. I haven't
really had a better stay and it rival's the Fairmont Waterfront at a
much lower cost for EVERYTHING...only thing missing is a pool and the
view.
Room Tip: quieter might be not facing street but despite lots of glass
it was not noisy

We stayed here for a week in Aug 2011. The location is amazing. We flew
to Vancouver with a 4 year old and took a train with all of our stuff
and walked from the train - literally 1 block. Perfect! And it is right
by the water which is a plus.
The staff was super kind and helpful. Willing to get us whatever
information we needed and there to answer any question we had. At one
point my daughter smashed a glass in our bathroom. The staff was there
in less than 3 mins to clean it up and was super pleasant about it. They
offered us a larger fridge since we had a small child and were staying
for a entire week. It was really helpful.
The room was not huge but it was fine for a vacation. The bed was super
comfy - the sofa bed was not so comfy but served my 4 year old well.
I can't comment on the food since we did not eat there. The only thing I
would change about the hotel is to add a pool, it was missed travelling
as a family.
We will be back!! |
