Just stayed for a quick overnight visit at the Coast. Things
couldn't have been better! This hotel is attractive, clean,
conveniently located and really good value for money. The staff
were genuinely friendly and provided great service. The
restaurant was a pleasure. We had planned to eat out but, the
complementary appetizer coupon we were given at check-in enticed
us into Preston's Restaurant for a look. Once we were settled in
with more friendly staff and a very nice looking menu in front
of us we were there for the evening! I highly recommend the
Coast Coal Harbour and look forward to staying there again.

Arrived Christmas Day to meet the very friendly Reception staff,
rooms clean, spacious and hotel has a good feeling about it.
Great location easy walk to Stanley Park, Canada Place and
downtown. Hotel spa/hot tub and warm pool were lovely after busy
days sightseeing. Gym facilities and showers were all good too.
Bathrooms good size with lovely soaps, shampoo & conditioner
etc. Free wifi was wonderful for the teenagers! Restaurant
looked good although we didn't get to use it we did however
enjoy some lovely room service meals. Appreciated the inter
connecting rooms. Has a valet service for cars. Booked through
Hotwire secret Santa I called it where you don't know Hotel name
until you purchase worked well for us. There is the option to
choose hotel through Hotwire too either worked brillantly for
our trip.

The Coal Harbour is outstanding. Staff, the property, the whole
nine yards.
I highly recommend staying here to anyone coming to visit
Vancouver. Only seconds from the water, this newly built
property is beautiful. When myself and my partner checked in
with our dog, the entire staff took the time to come by and say
hello to us. Our room had a beautiful view of Stanley Park, we
could even see the float planes landing!
The room itself was gorgeous. The bed also provided the best
sleep we have had in quite some time... I think our dog thought
so too.
We had breakfast in Prestons Restaurant the following morning,
and everything was top notch. Service was fantastic, and my Eggs
Benny (which I had some modifications on), came out perfect. I
highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a
delicious breakfast around the Coal Harbour area.
All in all, 5 stars. I will most certainly be coming back.

Stayed in a premium room with lots of space for two of us to
share The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. Love the
opening windows! Great location for the Convention Centre,
walking and shopping! The front desk staff were excellent,
making sure I made the most of my Coast Reward points. The food
in the restaurant was surprisingly good - breakfast, late night
dinner and appies. Nice touch on the appies coupon. Everyone
seemed to go out of their way to make sure we had want a great
stay.

Excellent service, comfortable, and beautiful rooms = I would
stay there again when I am back in Vancouver. Close to the
Canada Line (Sky Train) which I took from the airport. Wonderful
location near shopping and business. Great special rates. Very
easy, no stress Vancouver trip.

Hmm..I almost don't want to talk about this hotel as it might be
full the next time I try to stay. This is a very classy hotel,
with good service, food, comfortable and quiet rooms with great
blackout curtains...I usually find it difficult to sleep in
hotels, but not in this one.

Stayed with Coast Coal Harbour for three nights in Vancouver
while attending conference. Facilities were great and Hotel is
in a great location to access the city with a beautiful walk
steps from the main door. Staff are exceptionally friendly and
always with welcoming smiles and willingness to assist and make
your stay perfect. Conference meals were excellent! Thank you to
all!

Booked two nights via Hotwire and received about a 35% savings!
Our room was nice and updated; however the door joining to the
next room and the hallways door were both lacking any sort of
sound proofing.
The first night we were kept up by out neighbours watching TV,
and then in the morning we were woken buy them getting ready for
the day. It’s not that they were not being loud; it was just the
poor sound proofing between the doors. The second night and
morning were a little more restful, as we did not have anyone
next to us.
The entrance door leading to the hallways was also lacking any
sort of sound proofing, which was concerning for our own
privacy. We could hear clear as day, the conversations of guests
and staff outside our room. Both mornings, we were woken by
staff knocking on doors and calling out “house keeping” as well
as the opening and closing of a storage closet used by
housekeeping.
During our checkout, I was asked by the desk agent how our stay
was and I informed him of the noise issues. Instead of
apologizing, he informed us he does not receive this complaint
very often and because we booked our stay on Hotwire, we didn’t
have much choice in our hotel options. I told him we were happy
with the hotel and service but just thought he should know about
the issue. He didn’t seem too concerned. We had one room charge
of $75 for two nights of car parking and when he entered the
amount into the debit machine he only entered $14.04 (which was
our room number), so I asked him jokingly, if the amount was
correct and if he were giving us a deal because of our room
issues…. He said “opps, no I’m not” I thought this was the
perfect opportunity to make up for our two noisy night, but I
guess not.
Would I stay at this hotel again?..… Only if it were deeply
discounted.
