So, if you like to catch some zzz's in a hotel and get a good nights rest, do
not stay here. "Chateau" Granville is extremely misleading. From the drug
addicts at the side of the building to the porn shop across the street this is
not a nice area to stay. The staff was not friendly or helpful in giving
directions. I don't know how the building is standing because it has the
thinnest walls. We could here the neighboring guests come home at 3:45am. And
the noise from the street lasted all night. Including the screams as if someone
was being attacked. It was old and looks terrible from the outside. If we hadn't
prepaid, I would have 100% moved to another hotel. I was really disappointed as
Best Western is a name that you should be able to trust. Don't recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel as part of our 2 weeks holiday in the area.
Had the court yard room location. All was very good and the location too.
Highly recommended in terms of value for money.

Hotel OK but annex rooms are dark and dated and accessed by an alley way.
Main tower seemed OK and we ate at the restaurant on the second floor.
Located on a busy dirty street with vagrants and sex shops, felt very
intimidated
Not suitable for families

the rooms were ok but the all night parting down Granville street kept us up
since we could hear it in to the wee hours of the night.
We used the glasses the first night and I found reminisce of my lip-gloss from
the night before on the "cleaned "glasses with the new paper lids indicating
they had been cleaned
some clerks at the desk were outright rude or indifferent at one point refusing
total a diabetic patron if there was a refrigerator in the room to store her
medication!!!
the rooms were roomy but service was not good
and for the price it should be
I will not stay there again!!!
