You can't go wrong with the price, especially if you've booked online. Booked a
week stay at $118 per night for a one bedroom corner suite (room 2003).
The apartment is spacious with a 48" plasma tv, two beds in the room and a pull
out couch in the living room. The building is dated but they have done a good
job to upgrade where they could to improve the look at feel. We have nice cherry
cabinets in the kitchen a laminate countertops while the bathroom has a nice
granite countertop. The room also boasts crown moulding , black out curtains and
over very warm decor. Oh, did I mention location? We were staying her to be
close to St. Paul's hospital where my grandma is at, but at the same time, so
close to the dinner action on Burrard and the shopping district. Minutes from
the Canada line that takes you to YVR airport.
I'd definitely stay here again and I would recommend it.

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times with my boyfriend on our way to whistler and
have never been disappointed! It was renovated prior to our arrival which was
good. Rooms are great, spacious and very clean (we had the most comfortable
bed!!). Staff are also friendly and very very helpful. The main shopping street
is just down the road and the marketplace (Which is fantastic) is also down the
road. Would recommend to anyone!

This was our second stay here and we found it still very good value, it is a
pity we don't have suite hotels of this standard in major UK cities.
The food was excellent and reception and doorman we very obliging.
It is great to have such a large suite for so little cash.

I booked a reservation at this hotel was because of the location and the cost of
a room for less than a $100/night. The lobby is quite nice and the customer
service at the front desk was fine. The hotel room I was assigned to was
adequate. It was quite large with a huge king size bed and a couch. I'm not sure
why there was a microwave and a empty bar fridge (a stocked fridge would've been
nice) but the decor was from the 1970s. The was a hint of cigarette smell in the
air once I entered into it (I asked for a non smoking room) and there were a few
stains on the carpet. It would've been nice if I could access the internet in my
room rather than having to venture to the lobby and I was annoyed at the knock
on the door at 9 am from the housekeeping service asking when I was leaving
(check out is at 11 am - can't I stay till then?). Would I stay here again - the
jury is out on that one. I'm not sure if anyone could find a nicer hotel for the
same amount of money.

Century Plaza was the only hotel on web site in our price range, so we expected
to end up somewhere rather shabby. However, we were very pleasantly suprised
when we arrived there! The hotel is in a great location, and the lobby is
beautiful. The rooms are large and spacious, and beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast was not included in our rate, but was available for a very reasonable
price. Wifi was available for free in the lobby but not in the rooms.
For the price, the hotel is an excellent choice in Vancouver.

Stayed here for a girls night out the rooms were spacious, clean and fairly
roomy for the price. The hotel is within walking distance to waterfront,
Granville Island, famous Robson shopping street and various nice restaurants so
can totally recommend it location-wise.. The comedy club in the basement proved
to be a lot of fun. Good things about this hotel is the location and the view
(we were on the 25th floor)

We stayed there the last week of October and stayed in an Executive
Suite in the upper 29th level. The view over the city was fantastic,
but the noise very disturbing, also given the fact that a hospital
was next door. The room was very big but interior not the latest and
walls could do with some refurbishing; a night lamp was missing in
our bedroom as well as a closet to hang up some clothes.
Nevertheless we enjoyed the space and the king size bed was okay.
The sink in the bathroom looked nice but was completely unhandy for
real use :-(
The restaurant & bar were very good and service attentive in the
evening, in the mornings - once you showed your breakfast vouchers
to choose from either eggs & hash browns, waffle or pancakes with
coffee - the service was a bit abrasive. One thing that annoyed a
bit was that WiFi was only available in the lobby area and no
complimentary computers around for guests; the only option were the
public computers in the adjoining coffee bar (6 $ per hour).
We did not experience the Spa as the prices seemed pretty high
compared to average Canadian prices for food and else so even in
Euro it seemed pretty much.
However, the hotel is within walking distance to waterfront,
Granville Island, famous Robson shopping street and various nice
restaurants so can totally recommend it location-wise.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Century Plaza on a
recent visit to Vancouver. We found the staff friendly and caring,
the room was large, clean and complete with all the amenities. The
location is as central as you can get and handy to most downtown
Vancouver sites. We will definitely stay there again.
