This hotel is unprepossessing from the outside but quite clean and well appointed. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a main road and only a couple of blocks away from a Sky Train station. The price is very good for a hotel of this quality and we've stayed here quite often. There is no breakfast included in the price, but there is a pub on site that opens for breakfast. There is a small fridge in the room but no microwave. There is a Starbucks across the street and a Safeway.
On this trip, we checked in early but were given a room anyway. It was a really big room with a door to a private balcony. That seemed fabulous but we found out in the evening that the room was quite cold. We called the desk and asked for an extra blanket and within five minutes, a maintenance man appeared with a blanket, a space heater, and he came to adjust the heat. Although the response was very quick, we found in the night that the door didn't have a great seal and it was COLD in our room all night! In the morning, we asked for a change and were given a key to the room across the hall, which was ready immediately. We had changed rooms in about fifteen minutes and the new room was warm and cosy. There were no other problems. We were impressed with how quickly and positively staff response. We've stayed here before and will stay again. Thanks Ramada Metrotown!

Will go back to this hotel whenever possible. During our 3-nite stay in this hotel, there had not been any problem. We found total satisfaction although it wasn’t a 5-star hotel. There were so many different restaurants nearby. Some of the restaurants including McDonald stayed open to late hours. Hotel is older, but maintenance was good, location is perfect for public transportation. staffs are very friendly to give you all the information. they made a reservation for limousine to cruise port which was best deal in Vancouver.

I had a great experience staying at the Ramada Metrotown and Suites. The hotel is in a great location close to the biggest shopping mall Metrotown as well as a close to the skytrain which drops you off right in downtown in a mere 12 minutes. The hotel even offers free shuttle service during the week to Metrotown and the skytrain station. I recommend this hotel not only for the price but the cleanliness, friendly staff and amazing pub food.

My husband and I stayed there last night for the third or fourth time. The room was a recently remodeled one with new wallpaper, fresh paint, and what looked and felt like new beds. The beds were very comfortable, the room was mostly clean. The carpet looked very old and like it had seen better days. The room was VERY big, with two queen sized beds, a fridge, and very good in room coffee. The bathroom was clean but the wall plate for the plug-in was rusty. This hotel has seen better days but for the price, you really can't beat it. I would be comfortable recommending it to anyone on a budget. This did not include breakfast - it's one of the ways they keep the cost down, I guess.

I chose this hotel because it was fairly close to the Joyce Skytrain station which brought me to two conferences, one at Harbour Centre in Vancouver and the other at Burnaby’s Metrotown. It is about about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, along Kingsway and Joyce Street, to the skytrain station. It is also close to a Safeway & BC Liquor Store, and several Asian restaurants. The room was comfortable. No complaints.

Dined a few times near the hotel, loads of oriental restaurants, and the sushi is great. Good all round service, food brilliant and the staff were so friendly and well mannered. Free parking - good overall experience

Location is great for travelers and a place to lay your head down. Nearby are many shop including Safeway, 7Eleven and its close to Metrotown shopping center. The public transit system is just a short walk away. Everything in the hotel was as expected, well maintained and clean. For the price it is an excellent place to stay and rest during the night.

I often booked Ramada for my trip to Vancouver. I found great value and convenience in this hotel. My rooms are always clean and the staffs are always kind and polite.
Some of them even getting to know me now and often offer a free room upgrade when ever they can. The suite has large bay window with lots of natural lights and the separate living room also allow me with plenty spaces to work. The restaurant and pub offer extensive menu selection, but there are also lots of choices of eatery in the area.
I recommend this hotel for those on the budget but need a clean room with restful overnight stays. Guest Review of the Ramada Hotel Burnaby Metrotown

The hotel was in the middle of a refurb to brighten up the exterior and lobby area. Room was comfortable and quiet and air-con a welcome addition.
Adjoining pub food was very good value for money. You really need a car to use the hotel as a base for exploring the city - its quiet a walk to the Skytrain.

Nothing too special, but I was worried after reading some of the reviews. This place was a great bang for your buck. Close to the Skytrain, 10-15 minutes to downtown, etc.

I am a frequenter to Vancouver and I will definitely stay here again. The pool was COLD, though...LOL.
