Stayed here for 3 nights. Guys road trip weekend. Rooms are nice and big. 2 bed
2 bath. Hide a bed in living room. Full kitchen that has not quite enough stuff
to eat in all the time, but it works. Beds are comfy, rooms clean and great
value for the downtown core. Decent continental breaky incl. Parking $20 /
night. Not 5* but solid 3.5* hotel. Will be back

We have stayed at the Landis a number of times on our way to/from Whistler. The
suites are great value for our family of 5, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and
a kitchen for the times you want to eat in. There is a 7-11 over the road, and
lots of cheap restaurants locally. The continental breakfast is pretty basic and
it was unfortunate that the pool complex was closed on our last visit, as the
kids really appreciate a swim after a long flight.
The hotel is not as centrally located as many, but still quite walkable to many
destinations. There is also a free shuttle for downtown drop-offs.
The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and informative. Special thanks to
Ali for his superb service on our recent stay.

We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite. Though we were there for one night, we
liked the Vancouver location, space and bright rooms. The breakfast was decent
as well. We mainly booked the Landis Hotel over others because of the pool!! The
pool was under construction and this was very disappointing for us and our son.

The Landis Hotel rooms are very nice. Lots of space and the beds are very
comfortable. Decent sized kitchen and the solariums are a nice touch. Rooms have
lots of windows so you usually get a lovely view. The first time I stayed at The
Landis the concierge was awful, he took 45 minutes to check us in and was being
smug and not very helpful. The second time however the woman was friendly, quick
and efficient! Also the continental breakfast was a bit wimpy, not really much
to choose from.

Taking advantage of the Family Holiday in Alberta, we spent the long weekend in
Vancouver staying at the Landis Hotel and Suites.
The hotel staff is very welcoming setting a very tone to our stay at the Landis.
The hotel is centrally located and gives us an opportunity to walk to almost any
destination in the city centre or Granville Island just across the bridge.
The hotel also provides a breakfast opportunity that is very much appreciated.
We have chosen the Landis for four years and will continue to return as guests
are treated very well during your Vancouver stay.
Thanks to the management and staff of the Hotel!

Party of 5 staying in a 2 bedroom with a pullout couch. This place was great for
the living room space, separate kitchen and extra mini dining room. It also
provides a continental breakfast! However, there was only 1 bathroom and the spa
downstairs was being renovated. Its a comfy stay for 5 people over a few nights
but I wouldn't stay here again for the same price. The hotel is about a 10-15
min walk to the train station... So during winter, it wasn't a comfy walk for
us. Our other friends stayed in better hotels in better locations for a similar
price with online deals. There's a 7/11 conveniently downstairs along with being
walking distance to lots of restaurants/cafes, but the train station and town
centre are a much further walk away. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, but I
wouldn't stay here again |
