I stay here 2-3 times per year on business. Outstanding location right
on the seawall overlooking the ocean, Stanley Park, and a short walking
distance to several great restaurants. The rooms I've had have
consistently been corner rooms so have had a view in 2 directions - both
amazing. Fitness room and pool (one indoor and one outdoor) are also
good. I keep coming back as its an upscale hotel, in an amazing
location, with reasonable rates.

We stayed at the Westin Bayshore for six nights. The hotel is nothing to
look at from the outside and could really use some upgrading, but the
location could not be better.
Though we found this hotel to be more than satisfactory and would
probably stay here again, the Westin Bayshore could go a long way in
improving the ambiance and atmosphere by just putting some prints, and
other decorations on the walls - and add more furniture in the lobby.
The feel of the place is kind of sterile and needs to be warmed up. I
would also advise anyone who stays there to request that they are not
placed in any room that ends in "04", since the "04" rooms on each floor
share the wall with the service elevator.

We stayed here just for the night. Our suite was outstanding on the top
floor of the second tower. We were welcomed graciously by the front desk
staff.
The room was beautiful, not modern, but it is a westin. Classic Westin
hotel, heavenly bed and rain shower were both amazing.
The deck was so amazing to sit out on, I wish they would upgrade the
patio furniture it would take the deck from an 8 to 10!!
Great restaurants close by, convenient location. Though we didnt have
time for breakfast buffet, as we were leaving we stopped to check it out
and it looked awesome
We will absolutely be back.

I travel a fair bit internationally with work, and I must admit the
Westin Bayshore definitely does not stand up to the Westin's usual high
standards. The hotel is old and tired, with stained carpets and beat up
walls in the guest wing halls.
Our room was on the seventh floor of the 'original' hotel, with a
fantastic harbour view. Unfortunately, with the view came the noise. The
windows are single glazed, and do not do much to block the noise from
the boardwalk below. We had to call at 10:30pm for earplugs in order to
try to block out the noise from the concert across the water in Stanley
Park.
The room was okay, but not stellar. The bedsheets were clean - no so the
bed skirt, which sported an uncomfortable brown stain. The white cloth
chair in the room was appalling - more grey than white, with obvious
grime on the armrests and seat.
Saturday evening service left a bit to be desired, as well. When we
arrived there was only one person working at the check in desk - and
later, when we went down to check with the concierge regarding things to
do around the hotel, there was a sign on the concierge desk instructing
us to speak to the front desk attendant for assistance...
Finally, watch out for the extras. Between daily parking and internet
fees, you'll be in for at least fifty bucks' more than what you signed
up for.
All that notwithstanding, the hotel location is VERY convenient.

Our room was beautiful, facing the Harbour front, the beds were
extremely comfortable. Parking was expensive. Staff was friendly and
helpful. Would definitely recommend staying in this hotel, when you
travel to this area. Great location and trolley tours pick up at this
hotel also.

Stayed here for one night only in mid-June, and was certainly not
disappointed. Very friendly staff and generously sized guest bedrooms,
and as an added bonus the bed is super comfortable even by top-end hotel
standards.
Worth noting is that The Westin Bayshore is located in a peaceful and
predominately residential part of central Vancouver with many of the
rooms facing the yacht harbor.
Would definitely consider coming back over my next visit to the city.
Well done!

We stayed for a few nights prior to a cruise. Location is amazing! The
proximity to dining, waterfront activities and all things Vancouver is
perfect. Being next door to Stanley Park was super and not something I
had researched. We rented bikes and had fun riding through the 1000 acre
forested park next to the hotel! Wow.
Platinum friendly - nice upgrade. The room was not ready upon arrival at
6 pm - poor form but they were quite nice about it, apologetic yet
friendly. $75 in bar credits worked things out and room was ready in 30
min. The desert was amazing by the way.
A special shout out to bellman Abe who was super helpful and gracious.
He was there for us.
We will be back!

We stayed at The Westin Bayshore for one night before the Santa Claus
Parade. Our check in was seamless and because we have three children, we
were given a very large room with space to spare for a rollaway bed. The
view of the mountain skyline and Stanley Park were breathtaking. The
beds were comfortable, room was spotless, and the bathroom amenities
plush. This hotel is in Coal Harbour, on the seawall and within walking
distance to the park. It is also within a walkable distance to the
convention center and Robson Street. There is an outdoor and indoor
pool, restaurant, and Starbucks on premises. Parking is very pricey
($36), but our Hotwire rate made it seem not so bad. Would definitely
return.

The only drawback is the lack of a good restaurant in the hotel. The pub
and restaurant serve very ordinary food although there are several
excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Winters in Vancouver are wet so we don't stay there in winter.

asked for better.
The rooms were stunning. A beautiful hotel and great food at the Seawall
Restaurant.
