We went with our friends for a night in Vancouver and a day shopping. Centrally
located for shopping restaurants and night life. Were pleasantly pleased,
enjoying the Valet Parking. Excellent staff very friendly. Rooms were spacious
with sitting area off the bedroom, two TV's one in the sitting room, one in the
bedroom. Bedroom had a pocket door for privacy. Comfortable bed with wonderful
bedding. Had breakfast in the Copper Chimney Restaurant accessible through the
lobby. Enjoyed sitting in front of the lobby fireplace after walking around
town. Strongly recommend Le Soleil

We had a great stay at Hotel LeSoleil.
Parked the car & walked around downtown Vancouver.
Shopping & Starbucks nearby........
Had a wonderful lunch in the Copper Chimney Restaurant (off the hotel lobby).
Twin beds with great pillows & comfortable bedding.
The pocket door separated the bedroom from the sitting room (w/tv) & bathroom.
Staff not overly friendly but not rude.
Forgot a toothbrush & a call to the front desk had two there w/toothpaste within
5 minutes!

I was on work for 2 weeks, and a friend had recommended this beautiful boutique
hotel...its right in the heart of downtown, walking distance to everything..
The staff was friendly and even changed my room for me when i,d requested a
smoking room. It had a huge terrace and that suited me fine..
Home away from home! I,d recommend it to all..

I saw the groupon deal and called the hotel before purchasing to see if they had
any availability for the night we were interested in before buying the groupon.
The reservation agent at the hotel told me that they did indeed have
availability for our requested night AND he told me that he would beat the
groupon price if I booked over the phone with him!
I am a fan of boutique hotels and this is one of my favorites to date. The room
was a corner suite with a sitting area and then a hallway to the bathroom and
mini-bar/coffee/closet area which ended up in the bedroom. The king size bed was
SO comfortable with excellent quality linens and the best pillows. It was nice
to be able to open the bedroom window and get some fresh air too! I definitely
appreciated the iPod docking clock radio, it's always nice to be able to listen
to your own music when away from home.
The soaker tub was great, it's so nice to have your entire torso covered with
water! The Aveda soaps, body wash and shampoo were also appreciated. The
showerhead was a little lame though, it had virtually no pressure. I understand
that it's probably low-flow, however I have low-flow at home and the pressure is
much stronger. Loved the robes and the towels were nice and big. Although they
felt kind of rough, they were actually quite soft.
We had room service in the morning, ordered the night before from the menu left
on the pillow. We couldn't decide if we were in the mood for French toast or
eggs Benedict so we ordered one of each and split them. The food was served
promptly, hot and it was DELICIOUS. The french toast was actual baguette bread,
cinnamon and just so yummy and the eggs were cooked perfectly for the bennies
and the hollandaise sauce was the best, with just a bit of a cayenne bite!
The room also included free wi-fi and valet parking. We didn't use the internet
but the parking was much appreciated. The ice machine is on the 3rd floor, not a
big deal but I heard a little grumbling from another guest.
All in all an excellent stay and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others,
both out of Towner's or locals!
