This Hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from Yaletown which is an urban
redevelopment area with many bars, boutiques and restaurants. There is a bus
stop and a taxi rank right outside and 2 minutes away is the pick up point for
the On/Off bus tours where the first stop is Granville Island. There is a White
Spot restaurant adjacent to the Hotel which serves from 7AM - 10PM. The food is
good and reasonably priced. Hotel guests get a discount off lunch and dinner.
The staff both in the restaurant and the Hotel were all very welcoming, friendly
and had plenty of knowledge about Vancouver.
Our room was comfortable and well equipped. There is a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi
but the best feature for us was the rooftop sitting area which afforded us great
views as we sat with a glass of wine looking out at the City. Vancouver is a
very walk able city divided into distinct areas. We walked back from Stanley
Park to the Hotel which gives you an idea about distances. The Hotel also
provides a shuttle service which we took advantage of a few times to get dropped
off in the evening.

Best quality price/ratio. Near all the facilities. Quiet room, very comfortable.
People at the reception desk were very helpful. Nice terrace on the top to have
a good view of downtown Vancouver.

I have stayed in this hotel probably 15 times. As a female who travels alone,
safety and cleanliness are two of my top priorities. This hotel is wonderful.
Parking underground, very clean quiet rooms, sauna and gym upstairs, awesome
views of the city, plus you are a few blocks from Yaletown. I don't like fast
food chains, but it is nice that they have a White Spot downstairs. If you don't
feel like leaving your hotel, you can still get dinner.

Located in down town and walking distance to the Sky train station. This is the
reason why I booked this hotel. I arrived at the hotel around 3 O'clock in the
afternoon of Wednesday but to my surprise I faced many drinkers' on the street
near by the Hotel.
I just did not feel ease fot it. Breakfast is only supplied from 7 O'clock even
on week day.
I missed it to catch my 9 am flight. Why not from 6:30 like many other hotels?

We stayed at this hotel twice in June 2011, once for a stopover, once for a few
days. Its price and location make it a good pick

This hotel has nice rooms, a great gym, a whirlpool tub, saunas and, best of
all, a free shuttle to downtown every half hour. We used the shuttle to visit
Chinatown and even to lug our bags to the cruise ship dock, saving a ton on
taxis. It's on a creepy block but it's very close to several great
neighborhoods, pluses buses and trains. Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Downtown Vancouver

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay 2 nights at the Best Western. The check
in process was prompt. The location of the hotel is on the far end of the street
somewhat removed from the busy part of downtown but within walking distance of
most shops and eating places. The staff was pleasant and responsive. The paid
parking was somewhat crowded in the later hours and there were times we had to
wait for a space. The restaurant on-site was easily accessible and had something
to offer for all of the family. For the price and the amount of time spent, this
was a good deal. The rooms are smaller so be mindful of how many adults and
children you plan to put in 1 room. Free WIFI a plus!
