Stayed here a few nights before going on a cruise. Fabulous furnishings,
great service from a very attentive staff and an unbelievable full
breakfast, included. Seemed European. Down the block from a culinary
school, stop in for lunch. But be aware of ambient street noise, it is a
city!

We stayed at the St. Regis for a few days. The hotel was well-located in
downtown Vancouver. The room did not have a view and was a little on the
small side but was clean, modern, and well-appointed. Wi-fi was very
good and free international phone calls was a nice treat. The breakfast
is excellent and definitely worth a good portion of the room rate. It is
a small hotel so you need to keep in mind there are few on staff. We
returned to our room mid-afternoon one day and put the "do not disturb"
sign on the door despite the lack of housekeeping at that time. When we
left a couple of hours later we found out that we missed our only
opportunity for housekeeping. We asked Brittany and Ryan (?) at the
front desk if we could have new towels. We came back to find out Ryan
made our room himself. In fact, I was thinking of giving the hotel on
overall rating of four stars but the staff (especially Brittany and
Ryan) were so much better than even strong staff at other hotels that I
need to give this one five stars.

This was a fabulous hotel. The location was great- right in the heart of
Vancouver and close to the convention center. The amenities were
fabulous- free internet, free WONDERFUL breakfast, free international
calls, free bottled water in room everyday. The hotel is beautiful on
the inside. The rooms are very nice- specious bathroom. I was in
Vancouver primarily for business with a few days extra added to the trip
for fun. It was a great place to stay. We would stay here again. Staff
was wonderful and helpful.

We had a great time at this hotel - clean, comfortable beds, great
location and, most importantly, the friendliest and most knowledgeable
staff I've ever encountered. We really enjoyed talking with the front
desk staff, the servers in the breakfast area and the maids and
maintenance folks. The attached bar is very nice and convenient, and the
included breakfast is great. They also provide nice amenities at no
charge - free international calling and free internet. The rooms are on
the small side, but certainly adequate. The bathroom is well appointed
with plenty of room. I'll definitely stay there next time I visit
Vancouver.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Vancouver, B.C. and we chose to
stay at the St. Regis for it's convenient location and included
amenities. We had heard good things about the St. Regis, and were very
pleased with our stay. Breakfast is included with your room, and it
definitely does not disappoint. The breakfast service at the St. Regis
is not like your typical complimentary breakfast you find at most other
hotels...it is set up like a restaurant (not buffet style) with a wide
variety of menu choices. Service is quick and the food is delicious!
Beware on weekends though - it gets crowded mid to late mornings. Our
room was clean and very inviting. The hotel concierge service is also
fantastic! One of the gentlemen (Benjamin) offered us a ton of valuable
information regarding the hiking trails in and around Vancouver. He
recommended Capilano Park to us, and it was one of our favorite memories
of the entire trip. Benjamin was so helpful...providing us with a map of
the park, driving directions, and even wild animal coaching incase we
stumbled upon a bear or mountain lion on our hike (we didn't, but it was
helpful to know how best to deal with the situation should something
like that arise). Check in and check out were a breeze, and overall we
were extremely pleased with our stay at the St. Regis! Highly recommend!

I do not often rave about hotels but this one is worth it. Great
location very close to Canada Place and the Gastown area, easy walking
distance. The staff / service were excellent and very helpful. You would
be hard pushed to find any downtown hotel in Vancouver that was better.
The room was small but very comfortable and the standard very good.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very polite and friendly the
adjoining bar was also a good stop off for a drink and bar food. You do
not get a good view out of the window but that was a minor point for me.
If i ever go back to Vancouver i would certainly try to book this hotel
again.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We arrived early and
our room was not ready. They kept our luggage safe and secure for us
while we went to get lunch and explore the beautiful city of Vancouver.
We decided to go to the restaurant connected to the hotel for a drink as
it was still not check in time. While having a drink, the hotel employee
just happened to walk through and recognized us and called us by name to
let us know that our room is ready (early) whenever we would like to
check in. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room
was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. As an added bonus
international calls were free as well as local. We would definitely go
back to this hotel to stay.
