We choose this hotel because of it's proximity to Canada Place. The
staff were friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The room is smaller
than expected, but was still easy for two people to maneuver. The king
size bed was clean and very comfortable. You could see the plumbing and
window frames were newer and the hotel is well cared for. This is a
perfect hotel if you are taking the Canada Line from YVR and/or needing
to get to Canada Place. I'm planning on going back to Vancouver just to
see the city and I will definitely be staying here.
Oh, the breakfast area isn't horribly classy, but it's clean and if you
happen to get there when it's not busy, it gets you some food and fresh
coffee.

Small boutique hotel close to Cruise ships and train station. (We came
in on a ship and left on a train) Rooms small but very comfortable, well
furnished with period furniture. Very clean. Good bar and grill right
next door. Hotel has hot breakfast which we didn't get to enjoy as we
left at 5am. Hotel called taxi for us to train station. Also let us use
breakfast room for private party with wine and champagne that we
supplied. Would stay again.

Great location! Blocks to Gas Town and cruise terminal. Take Red and
Blue Trolley trips. Staff was excellent! Rooms are small but clean.
Breakfast was good. Not a luxury hotel... We would definitely stay here
again!

We stayed here in Aug 2011. The manager was super friendly and very
accommodating. The room was very updated The elevator was broken but it
was even a problem. The hot breakfast was very good too ! I would
definitely stay here again .
Room Tip: we were in the front of the building and it was a little noisy
during the evening but not at night.

I stayed in this hotel for a month in the Winter of 2010.
The shower was great, the water always hot, the room clean and warm and
the sweet ladies in the breakfast room always made me feel at home as a
lone female traveler.
My room wasn't overly big and light wattage was low.
Unfortunately there is no restaurant in this hotel, but there are plenty
around as you are
two steps from Gastown and the waterfront.
Next door is a friendly sports bar, that does good food and don't be put
off by the social housing in the same street as Vancouver is probably
the least aggressive city I have ever come across.
If you are on a budget, try here, you won't be disappointed.
Don't look for views but appreciate the provision of good basics and
friendliness.
