It is perhaps not the best part of Granville but it is so close to so
many great restaurants and bars that for $100/night it is a pretty sweet
deal.
The parking will cost you $15+tax/day which is a bit annoying. But being
so central you are better off w/o the car.
We had a 2-bed room which was pretty small but had it all and pretty
clean.
The wireless was kind of slow but worked fine for browsing.
The view from the room on the back yard is anything but breathtaking but
it saved us from the traffic on Granville.
You are litterally a couple of blocks from Yaletown and Hamilton street.
The public bus stop is in front of the entrance with connections to
pretty much all key areas in Vancouver.
Overall a good experience but not worth more than $120/night.

Visiting Vancouver from the UK. Had a great time, staff was great,
location was close to everything. Wish I can come back soon!

Room was small and not overly attractive (although bathroom was nice,
recently renovated) but for US$120/day you couldn't ask for more when
other hotels were going for $175-250. We decided to save on room to then
spend on attractions. The Ramada is in an easily accessible location
with many restaurants, bars and attractions in easy reach. Free wifi is
a plus. Front desk staff answer all tourist questions with friendliness
and patience and help u plan out your itineraries and give helpful
suggestions. My advice is to pay abut more for the king size bed in the
hopes room will be somewhat bigger.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a great location... only
minutes to fun on Davie St., Granville St, or Yaletown. Buses at the
door. The rooms are small yet comfortable. Good value overall!

We stayed at Ramada during the third week of July. The location is
perfect and above all I was treated royally at the reception. Ask for
Mihaela if your English is a little poor. As I speak better Spanish I
was delighted to hear her speak it back to us. Way to go Ramada, you
made it such a friendly international place!! Rooms are clean, front
desk very helpful and Mihaela lend the place an air of ( Panache )
flamboyance!! |
