Guest Review of the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

I just spent four nights at the Metropolitan Hotel in Vancouver. The
stay was excellent. I arrived early and a room was available. The room
had been recently renovated and very very comfortable. Great bed and
nice washroom. I even had a little balcony with a nice view. Nice pool
and whirlpool. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. The location
is great, its right across the street from the Pacific Mall and easy
walking distance to everything. The best part is the service. The staff
could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I will be back. My only
complaint was the cost of the room service breakfast.

We have recently been travelling across Canada for a National Training
session as the conference organizer I deal with many hotels from Halifax
to Vancouver and nowhere did we receive better service than the
Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver!
From my first point of contact setting up the conference facilities to
organizing rooms, dinner one night a the in house restaurant Diva, the
front desk, the concierge recommendations there was not one part of this
experience that did not run smoothly!
Of all the hotels that I stayed at and all the staff that we dealt with
this one property is at the top of my list!

This hotel is in a brilliant location for walking around the city
centre, but the real secret is in the wonderful, large rooms with
massive beds, a bathroom and shower suite, a nice pair of easy chairs
with a table for two by a huge window with a view to die for down the
avenue. The decor is classy and homely at the same time.
We found all the hotel staff wonderfully attentive at all times, from
the doormen to the concierge.
Everything you could want was in the room, and if you needed anything (I
needed a razor, for example) it arrived within minutes, no fuss.
We had the pool to ourselves, as well as the jacuzzi - piping hot and
nice and quiet.
If only all hotels were like this!

It was an awesome stay again at the Met in Vancouver. We were in for a
conference at another hotel, but we decided to stay at the Met because
of our stay in July. Not only were we met with the same welcome mat, but
we were upgraded to a suite with an awesome view. The people at the Met
truly care about your stay and do anything toi accommodate your every
whim. Thanks again to all the staff at the Met, fro the doorman and all
the staff in the front area and to the House cleaning staff, Thank you
for being you and making us feel like we were at home.
The suites are spacious and very comfortable. We did not know anyone
else was in the Hotel. Very quite. Vey clean. |
