Guest Review of the Comfort Inn Vancouver

Hey, it's central Vancouver, so a few party people should be expected,
this hotel is clean, well priced, recently updated and very well managed
with good staff and the attached pub is very good. It's currently my
favorite downtown Vancouver hotel
Room Tip: corner room bigger, high floor more stuff

Wow, was upgraded to a "business suite" on the 4th floor - Thank you
!!!! Didn't want to leave the room and the most comfy king bed.
Fireplace, fridge, microwave, free WIFI - couldn't ask for much more. We
often stay at the Comfort downtown as the location is perfect - easy
walking downtown
Robson Street and lots of excitement on
Granville Street plus
breakfast served in the Pub downstairs. Internet in lobby as well. Can't
wait to go back.

Stayed 2 nights on business trip. Was given room on first floor and was
kept awake but music until around 1.00pm each night. Staff friendly and
helpful, room clean but lights not working properly. Had to ask desk
staff to remove a drunk tramp from the entrance to the hotel, so that I
could get in, actually had to enter the hotel via the Pub in the end.
This hotel may be okay for a 1 night stay but would definitely not
recommend any longer.
Room Tip: Ask for room at back of hotel

Stayed three nights. Good experience. Rooms clean but small. The only
negative was the paper thin walls/floors. I could hear everything going
on in the rooms above and next to me. Great live music every night in
the the Irish pub on the first floor. I would stay here again.

My partner and I chose this hotel based on reviews and I'm very pleased
we stayed there.
We had a great stay (5 nights) at the hotel. All the staff were friendly
and helpful. I emailed before arriving asking for a room away from the
pub and we were given a quiet room on the 5th floor. We arrived early
and they stored our bags until the room was ready.
The room was good - clean, spacious with a huge and comfortable bed. The
only disappointment was no fridge to keep our food cold. Wi-fi was
available at no extra cost.
The breakfast included at the pub downstairs was great - muffins, fruit,
juice, waffles, bagels, bread, cereal. Lots to choose from. A Nesters
supermarket was very near by so we could stock up if needed.
The hotel is in a brilliant location - all the sights in Vancouver were
within walking distance and we had no problems - and train station was
easily accessible - only a few blocks away.
I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We took an overnight bus from Banff to Vancouver and arrived at the
Downtown Comfort Inn pretty early (10am). We asked front desk if by any chance
our room was free. It wasn't but they must have noticed our tiredness
and upgraded us the a king bed room and let us in straight away! Even a
late check out was no problem (we were one of those annoying guests!).
The neighborhood is a bit noisy, but hey it is in the middle of downtown
in a big city. The breakfast seemed a bit unorganized and not prepared
for that many guests. But overall good!
