The location is within walking distance to downtown, Sunset Beach, Ferries,
Granville Island, and Stanley Park. Staff is friendly and they offer free usage
of bicycles for the day.

Good place to stay before boarding a cruise. They have shuttle to the cruise
terminal. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Nice
area to walk around. Is, also, close to a Tim Hortons. Better than McDonalds.

I travel a fair bit and was impressed with this hotel. My husband and I
travelled by train to Vancouver from Edmonton, arriving in Vancouver at 10:00
a.m. I called the hotel and keeping my fingers crossed, asked if there was any
chance we could check in early, noting that check in wasn't until 3:00 p.m. She
said it was no problem. I'll stay here. The only thing I
would suggest is that you ask for a room on the opposite side of the Yale if you
want quiet.

Frankly did not expect more than basic services. The Front Office staff were
very friendly and went out of their way to help. As tourists from India we were
quite lost in a new city -- that's where they were most useful and friendly with
info/directions/opinions etc.
The rooms very comfortable and clean and the microwave was a bonus. The hotel
has a well maintained and well lit look which was pleasant. On two occasions we
needed help with heavy bags and when the porter was not available, the F.O staff
personally brought the bags to our room ! Net, net : highly recommend

Nice big room, very clean. Pleasant staff. Appreciated the free shuttle bus and
the 15 minutes free internet use. Good breakfast in White Spot restaurant. Only
bad thing was the noise from the hotel across the street on Grandville which
kept me awake till 2:30 am every night. We had a corner room on
Drake/Grandville.
