We stayed here for two nights, one before and one after a cruise. It is incredibly convenient to get to from the airport -- just take the canada line until the very last stop (waterfront station) and it is 2-3 blocks away. Getting to the Canada Place terminal is equally convenient, about 3 blocks. The rooms were very clean and we had no issues with them. The beds were comfortable, rooms quiet, and we all slept well. The only thing you should be aware of is that some rooms are MUCH larger than others. We booked two rooms with double beds and each time one of the rooms was significantly larger than the other. If you are going to be staying here for an extended stay, make sure you get one of the larger rooms. The value is by far the best for the downtown area. All the other hotels in the area were well out of our price range. We will definitely stay again if we are every back in the Vancouver area.

I stayed in at this Days Inn for one week while attending a conference at the Vancouver Convention Center. If you're someone who doesn't need the luxury "extras" then this is a great place to stay! The location was amazing: 2 minute walk to the Convention Centre, 5-7 minute walk to shopping on Robson Street , 4 minutes to the Stanley Park Seawall, and 10-ish minutes to the center of Gastown. The free wi-fi throughout the hotel made it perfect for business, and the proximity to great restaurants, bars, and nightlife was excellent. I will say that this is NOT a romantic or luxurious place, but it's clean and the staff were very friendly. I was in a "double double" room (#606) that did not have any views, but that was okay because it was quiet and like I said, I was there for business and not in the room too much anyway. As an added bonus, Smiley's Irish Pub next door is FANTASTIC! Some of the best calamari I've ever had in my life, great beer selection, and cool atmosphere. Definitely not the kind of place you'd expect to be semi-attached to a Days Inn! Overall great value for the location.

Stayed at the hotel when i attended a conference at the convention centre. I have stayed in this hotel 3 times now (for the same reason). It is about 5 mins walk to the centre from the hotel.

The hotel is cheaper than the others near the convention centre but is a fine place to stay. It is a fairly standard hotel. rooms are fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The Irish bar in the hotel is a good place to get a drink and doesn't cause any noise in the hotel.

good place to stay and i will stay here again next time i come back.

We got the Skytrain from the train station to our hotel which was about a 5 min walk away. Very good location and due to other reviews we did not have breakfast at the hotel. Instead we took advantage of the many coffee shops within close walking distance which was brilliant and less money than the hotel breakfast. We had bottled water every day although don't leave the bottle in the fridge with a tiny amount in as they wont give you another one! There was a computer with printer in the lobby so were able to print our boarding cards! I We were on the top floor facing the road so were a little hesitant about outside noise but in actual fact it was fine - until the morning!! The cleaners have a staff room on the top floor that has their washing machines etc in it so we were woken every morning with the staff coming to work, chatting outside our room while they were waiting for the lift and then the noise of their big trolleys being pushed into the lift! They were in no way quiet what so ever and had no respect for visitors who were most probably asleep at 7am.

However, the hotel was clean, comfortable and good value and would definitely stay again but would request not to be located near the staff room!! can only imagine what it would have been like to be located immediately next to or underneath it!

I work in the hotel industry and for a different Brand and I want to say we stayed here overnight to leave for a cruise the next morning. This is hotel is perfect! It is very clean, comfortable, and the staff is one of the best I have ever met.

Yes the hotel is not NEW but it has everything you need and more and does not charge the high prices the newer hotels charge.

You cannot go wrong staying here. Great location, CLEAN, FRIENDLY what more can you ask for.
