A friend recommended this hotel to me and it was definitely everything I had hoped for over a weekend stay in Vancouver. Fantastic location for people who want to be in the heart of the city. I don't understand people who would opt to stay on Granville street and then complain about the fact that it is a busy part of town?!

By far and above the staff went out of their way to ensure I had every need looked after. When a king bed wasn't available upon check-in, I was upgraded to a suite and then given the option to move on my second night. Seeing as how I planned on spending my every waking moment enjoying the beauty of Vancouver, this worked out perfect for me - and they took care of not only moving my belongings, but leaving me a note to make sure everything was in order upon my return.

My first night was in a suite - awesome size of the room, great to have a kitchenette and fridge. Second night was a much smaller room, but the decor was upgraded and beautiful with the best king bed! Great beds, sparkling clean rooms and awesome internet.

Make sure you get out and enjoy the city if you're lucky enough to stay here. I walked the bridge to Granville Island, met new friends and old while enjoying pints in the lounge next door and all around loved the scene. Boring people should stay in the country.

A hotel is just a place you stay for a short period of time.
I will always remember this hotel because of the people that work here. True professionals like Micaela made me want to come back sooner.
I recommend this hotel to all of my friends from Spain.

There were limited rooms when we checked in so were given a suite rather than a regular room which was a bonus having the extra space. Was a little worried about noise reading the other posts, but no problem for us - we seemed to have a room overlooking a central lightwell, not a great view but quiet. Staff, front desk and cleaning very friendly. Room very clean. Location was ideal for walking to all parts of the town including the little ferry to Granville island, although a little less salubrious later at night. Only issue I had was the parking, expensive valet service where they appear to put the car in the pay and display round the corner at half the price and even when I asked for the car to be brought round it was never ready and had to ask again when I got to reception.

This hotel was in the downtown entertainment district.....Bad choice on my part! We booked this hotel for a one night ( Thank the Lord) Post-Cruise. We were greeted by the front desk clerk, if you can call it a greeting. She simply asked if we were checking-in? We were very early considering that we got off the ship at 8:30am, They did not have our room ready but told us they could upgrade us to a suite that was ready! We said that would be fine. Sure glad we did because if the room we got was a suite I would sure have hated to stay in a regular room. The room was ok but that is about it. It was two small rooms plus a bathroom. 1st room had a love seat, desk & tv, 2nd room had two full size beds. The beds were comfortable but the street noise was not good for sleep. We could hear every car, bus , firetruck, or ambulance that was on the street. People were yelling all night, it being a Friday night in the entertainment district!! Homeless folks & beggers were everywhere. We ate across the street and then stayed locked in our tiny room. The floors squeaked with every footstep! First look everything appears to be clean, but don't look to close. Light fixture over the sink had dust build up from maybe a month or longer. There was hair in the coffee pot. I would not stay here again! Plain & Simple....Too many hotels choices.
