This is not a review of a particular property but just a huge thank you
to Delia Ramos who has been my concierge for two years now. Delia always
goes above and beyond to make sure my Starwood stays go smoothly and in
fact will enhance all of my stays and my families stays every chance she
can. When an east coast hurricane stranded my family with out me in
Nashville Delia was there to make sure that they were taken care of at
all times by the hotel which was piece of mind for me. Thank you Delia
and thank you starwood.

This hotel is right at the cruise ship port. If you are going on a
cruise it is probably a really good place to stay. The hotel is nice,
but since its at the port and has the convention center there it is
really busy. It has people all over the place. We were there for two
nights on our honeymoon and its not really the right place for that. At
night you have to take two escalators up to get in the elevators by the
check in area for "security" reasons. It was silly because the people
were not paying attention anyway. Also, they do not provide fee wi-fi.
The hotel is located in a nice area, easy walking to Gastown.

This hotel is wonderful! The view from our very large room was
phenomenal! I could relax in the room, open all the curtains on the
complete wall of floor to ceiling windows, and truly enjoy the
magnificent view! The service and food were great! The restaurants in
the hotel had excellent cuisine but high prices. We really enjoyed our
stay. Our hotel had the cruise ship dock underneath it and was connected
to the historic walkway along the shore. This was a great place to walk!

Good hotel right down by the harbour (pick a room with a harbour view as
it is well worth it for the views) and also very well located within
Vancouver itself. Rooms were perfect- had everything one would want. We
ate at the Restaurant (Five Sails) - excellent, lovely staff and food
was excellent. Check-in and check-out was very efficient. If I was to
pass one negative comment it is that I think they buffet breakfast is
too expensive and the selection does not justify the price.

The Pan Pacific hotel has an excellent location for cruise passengers
leaving from Canada Place. We had a wonderful 3 night pre-cruise stay.
The entrance to the hotel is somewhat confusing and upon first arrivng
doesn't strike you as five star hotel. The decor in the hallways, guest
rooms and bathrooms are somewhat dated and I imagine haven't been
updated since the hotel opened. There is kind of an 80's sheek feeling
to the hallways and the guest bathrooms, although some fixure have been
updated the bathroom sink, tub, toilet and tiles are very old and dated.
I would have expected better given the cost of the rooms. The soap and
shampoos are wonderful.
The pool facilities are great and the view from the hotel is excellent.
We chose not to dine at the hotel because of the cost. We found several
much less expensive options for breakfast at the food court directly
across the street and we didn't even have to walk outside. The hotel
should look at their food prices because they are out of line with the
area restaurants, not just the fast food chains at the food court.
Overall we liked the hotel because we had a comfortable bed with a nice
view from our room. If we were placed in a different location, we might
not have liked it as much.
As other reviewers have mentioned this hotel is not cheap.
