Reviews of the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel

We recently spent a week at the Marriott Pinnacle in Vancouver and
couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our room was somewhat
small but well laid out. Room overlooked harbor. It was delightful to
sit and watch the activities on the waterfront (cruise ships coming and
going, seaplanes, birds, etc). We had access to concierge lounge and all
offerings were nice and plentiful. Hotel restaurant is one of the best
we've ever come upon - it sounds odd, but you have to try their curry!
Service was perfect.

passed through Vancouver twice as part of a longer trip and used this
hotel both times and found staff to be very helpful, rooms clean and a
good location for both town and harbour, concierge lounge was fine for
this grade of hotel.
would not hesitate to use this hotel if you need to stay in Vancouver
even for a longer visit.

This is a fine business-class high-rise downtown hotel in the Marriott
chain. The lobby and ground floor restaurant are spacious and attractive
the front desk staff are accommodating. We were on the 10th floor facing
the water, although another office building across the street blocked
our view. The room was large and modern. The bathroom was sparkling and
had the latest marble and luxurious shower appointments.
The breakfast buffet was good and had been included in our rate. We
stayed over a weekend and given this is the business district near the
harbor, there were not many restaurant options within walking distance
so we ate breakfast here.
We walked nearby to Joey's for one dinner (recommended) and took a taxi
to Gastown where there are several options for dinner. Don't miss
Stanley Park, preferably on a sunny day.
Vancouver is a beautiful city to tour, and the Marriott is a luxurious
place to stay although you pay for the privilege.

Centrally located .. just one block from the water. Room was clean and
well-appointed, however, quite small. Concierge quite helpful in
obtaining boarding passes. No problem with the hotel

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and
well-maintained, and the room service food was good.
Overall, my only negative would be value for money. I travel to
Vancouver on business a few times a year. Considering the number of
hotels available in the downtown area, there are always better rates to
be had for a similar calibre property. For only that reason, I would not
rush back to this hotel.
The wireless Internet was reliable, but at $15.95 plus tax, it is
difficult to justify.
Same for valet parking at $32.00. |
