Stayed for 4 nights. Check in was slow and painful. On the first evening,
complained that the air conditioning wasn't working and finally on the last
night they offered to move us to a different room. The hot tub was also not
available the one night my husband and children wanted to use it. The shuttle
was first book first use and you could not book it a day in advance. You had to
call the same day at 7am. We called at 7:01am and it was already booked so we
were SOL. Rooms are super small, but clean. Staff tried to be friendly, but
really not that helpful. We were quite disappointed in this hotel overall.

We were going on a cruise from Vancouver, and wanted a hotel that provided free
shuttle service to the cruise terminal. Based on the good reviews for the Best
Western Plus Downtown, and that they provided the shuttle service we needed, we
decided to stay there the night before the cruise. Even though
they have free WIFI and shuttle service, I think we will be staying elsewhere
the next time we are in town.

This Best Western is the FINEST Best Western I have ever stayed at!
When you walk into the lobby, you receive the heavenly sent of White Tea and
Thyme air Fragrance! Simply Heavenly! The Staff at the front desk are the most
friendliest around!
The Room for your basic necessity is clean, fresh, and appealing. The beds are
VERY comfortable to sleep in!
When coming back to Vancouver, B.C. I will definitely plan a visit to stay at
this Best Western!

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and the hotel has free
internet and wi-fi. You can walk to Yaletown in just a few minutes and can walk
over the bridge to Granville Island in about 20 minutes.

I used to live in Vancouver so usually I stay with friends. However on a
stopover on business and wanted the convenience of a hotel. Free in room wifi
(that actually worked well) was definite bonus. Compact, clean, comfy room. Very
good service at the front desk, and overheard a lot of helpful advice for
tourists. Close walk to Yaletown restaurants and a hop skip and a jump to the
ferry to Granville Island. Also they offer a shuttle to the heart of downtown
shopping and coupons to some local attractions. I would recommend this hotel to
business and tourist visitors.

A city location that belies its location: a short walk to False Creek and the
Aquabus to Granville Island plus a free shuttle to Canada Centre. Great
restaurant in-house for breakfast or any other meal. |
