Nice place, highly recommend.
1. Rooms: We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen on the
11th floor, which is the top floor of this hotel. Decent view. Living
area included 2 sleeper sofas so it would be possible to accommodate 6
adults sleeping wise if you so desired. Room also contained dining room
table with 4 chairs, jetted tub, 2 flat screen TVs (one in bedroom, one
in living area), and a DVD player. Room and all furnishings are updated
and immaculate.
2. Location: Excellent, half a block away from numerous restaurants etc
and within walking distance of clubs/etc. Also very safe, lots of people
walking around at all hours.
3. Value: Excellent. We got a great price, and property includes free
parking and continental breakfast (bread/juice/cereal).
Bottom line: combination of price, location and excellent condition of
rooms make this a quality choice for downtown Vancouver.

This was our second stay at the hotel. We stayed in a large one bedroom
on the 5th floor and there was more than enough room for the 4 of us.
The bed was very comfortable. We had a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. The
kitchen was clean with an adequate number of dishes and cutlery. The
breakfast was good – coffee, bread, croissants, bagels, jam, cream
cheese, cereal, juice, fruit. The hotel is a block from Davie Street and
close to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, and a 24
hour Shoppers Drug Mart. It is a short walk to Robson Street. The (free)
parking area is small but we had a compact car so parking was not a
problem. We had some visitors and they had trouble finding parking near
the hotel (a common problem in Vancouver). Housekeeping came at odd
times and every day we got a different number of towels but the room was
always clean when they left. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed as a family of three with young child on the top and lower
floors.
The good: Very nice staff - nothing was too much trouble. Area grew on
us - great patisserie round the corner and restaurants and shops easy to
walk to. Bit longer to get to Stanley pak or down town. Room was clean
and kitchen well stocked. Wifi worked well. Had free DVDs for rainy days
( we had quite a few)
The bad: Area is a bit "colorful" ( mummy, why is that man dressed as a
woman?) with quite a few street beggars, but not threatening. Breakfast
is a interesting help yourself from a table at reception affair. Seemed
expensive for what you got but that's Vancouver for you.

There is nothing fancy about this property but the bed was as
comfortable as any in a higher end hotel. The windows open and the linen
is good quality, all contributing to a better than usual hotel sleep.
Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The only thing to watch for is
the room smoke alarm. A slightly over toasted bagel resulted in the
loudest smoke alarm ever, which hotel staff think is the way they want
it, but it took hours before my hearing returned to normal. Recommending
this to anyone.

I have stayed here before and it didn't disappoint. Last time I stayed
in a beautiful one bedroom suite complete with fireplace. This time I
stayed in a studio since I was on Govt business. The staff tried to talk
me out of it since the 1 bdr are nicer, but for $80 I got a huge bedroom
with a king sized bed, a balcony, a full sized kitchen and bath, two
hall closets, free parking, internet (that worked) and breakfast in
downtown Vancouver. There is no better deal! There are so many great
restaurants on Davie. There is even a 24 hr drug store and grocery store
one block up Davie. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suites
look brand new with hardwood laminate. I'm worried this "best kept
secret" will get out. That reminds me, its very difficult to find this
place. Walk NE up Burnaby just off Thurlow. You dont see the small sign
until you are right at it.
