This was a normal hotel. The room was comfortable and clean (minus some hair in
the shower). I think the building is pretty old and the age still shows through
the renovation.
The staff is cordial, but I did not note anything outstanding or extraordinary.
Parking (and tax) is a rip-off.

Our room was a nice, though the decor was a bit dated. (My favorite feature was
a column of shimmery blue tile in the shower. Least favorite - the striped
carpet!) No robes or slippers, unfortunately. Breakfast buffet was superb - TONS
of fresh fruit and anything else you could want. Quite expensive, especially
since parking was almost $30 for one night. Fortunately we could walk
everywhere, which was nice. The "Harbourside" is not quite on the water, though
it probably wasn't too long ago that it had an unobstructed view...

Got a great deal on Priceline. Location was perfect. Nice wide open lounge with
huge windows to see the view and have a few late drinks. The breakfast buffet
had everything you could want.

Bit expensive, but centrally located, great rooms. Offers wifi facilities on the
lobby level. Buffet breakfast sumptuous.
On harbour front, but not necessarily great for view, connectivity good. Staff
helpful and polite.

Spent 2 nights in a harbour view room. Room was fine (though had to call for a
shower curtain), nice view (though obstructed by an apartment tower), and good,
but not great location. The aspect that sank the hotel for me was the poor
internet connection, both wired and wireless. Have seen the same issue at the
Vancouver Airport Marriott: intermittent, very slow connection. It took me hours
to synch my email. On that basis alone, I would not recommend this hotel to
business travelers.
