We stayed in room 2407 with views of the city well lots of construction (in the
lead up to 2010 winter Olympics) and a view of the local HSBC office building.
On the plus side as it’s on the 24th floor: quiet from the street level noise
and has a partial mountain view.
Our room size was adequate, nicely decorated. It also had a Big flat screen TV
(LG) with a decent amount of channels (cira-60) also had a very comfy single
seat with matching stall and a work desk with lamp (if necessary). Room lighting
consists of 4 lamps and No main light. A superior radio clock (with iPod dock)
was a nice feature.
Room had ample storage space: good wardrobe space (with a sufficient amount of
hangers) and 4 draws in the TV stand - which I find is very understated and
rarely provided by hotels.
Bed was amazingly comfortable (very strong contender for my favourite hotel bed
ever).
Bathroom is nicely done- simple and effective, but quite small (by North
American standards). Has a shower/bath combo. The shower had adequate water flow
although not luxurious (if I was being pedantic). I really wasn’t a big fan of
the shower guard as it ruins the bath and shower layout and seems quite dated.
Room had essentials – bathrobes, tissues, soap, shower-gel, shampoo, ear buds,
hair dryer etc etc. I liked the shampoo and shower gel but the soap not so much.
Has turn down service (more revenue generating than comfort orientated).
Free daily newspaper delivered to room (must use door knob labels) and free
internet access in the lobby. Nice gym facilities, swimming pool is not heated
and partially outside - I found this quite enjoyable (my partner not so much).
Check in and out was speedy and effective and all with a friendly smile.

We've been to Vancouver before so knew we wanted downtown (access to everything)
but in a decent central location. Hotel joins a shopping centre/mall which has
everything you could want from a shopping experience (food, clothing etc) and
all accessible without venturing outside (if the weather is bad).

The Four Seasons is a solid chain with great customer service. I'm a fan, but to
be honest, I would only stay here as a business expense. (I can be a bit cheap
when it comes to my non-business accommodations... not Super 8 kinda cheap, but
as long as it's clean, convenient and safe, I'm pretty happy!)
The location is great (near the Vancouver Art Gallery) and gets bonus points
from me since it's connected right to Pacific Centre and walking distance to
many of my fave stores downtown.
Regular rooms are average in decor and average size. Beds are nice and
comfortable. Bonus points for having some L'Occitane toiletries too... I must
admit that I love toiletries in nice hotels and have been able to not buy soap
or lotion for years because of hotel stays!) It's an awesome hotel, you can walk
to everything... top notch
Solid 4 star hotel but as mentioned, it's strictly business travel for me to
stay here - rooms start at $250/night.

Great Hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The shopping malls are just
below. Conveniently located close to everything. Very clean rooms and friendly
staff. The concierges were very helpful. Enjoyed dining at Salam Bombay just 2
blocks away. The Room service order taker messed up with our break fast orders
other than that it was a great stay

We spent a week's time in the spacious family suite at the Four Seasons before
taking off onto an Alaska cruise. The hotel is very conveniently located
downtown Vancouver, within walking distance to shopping areas, Gastown and
Canada Place.
Staff was most helpful whenever asked.
Great breakfast at the Yew restaurant.
The city itself has a fantastic scenery, is very clean and young at heart.
We'd definitely return again soon.

The first question that came to mind was "How is this a Fours Seasons hotel?" If
not for the FS bed and bathrobes, I would not have believed that I was in a FS
hotel. The room was small, and the bathroom was a flash back to the 80's. I
think it is an absolute disgrace to the Four Seasons brand that this hotel be
allowed to exist without a major overhaul of all its rooms.
Everything from the lobby, rooms, to the service (almost nil) reeked of generic
banality. Don't get me wrong; there's nothing actually wrong with anything. But
for goodness sakes, this isn't a Hilton or a Holiday Inn. Given the hotel's
prime location in the downtown Vancouver, it could have been a premier hotel
with superior service.
One good thing is the hotel restaurant Yum whose decor felt like night and day
compared to the hotel lobby which was only a few steps away. Not only is the
decor quite modern, but food and service were superb. It was the sole bright
point of our stay there.
The building itself may be old, but to leave it old and slap a FS name on it is
a great disservice. We will stay at another place next time we're in Vancouver.

I took my mom here for a shopping trip. The shopping at Holt Renfrew was awful
what has happened to them?) but our stay at the hotel was lovely. The service
was impeccable. We really enjoyed eating healthy Tapas at the restaurant and the
service was very friendly. The rooms are not awe-inspiring especially compared
to the Seattle Four Seasons. They are comfortable and quiet but not worth the
price. I would stay here again if Vancouver had better shopping for anyone over
a size 6.

Just returned from a stay prior to leaving for an Alaskan cruise. Very nice
hotel, upgraded to an premium executive suite for 520 but watch out for the
taxes in Vancouver! They are a real surprise at the end. Nice touches included
personalized cookies with milk for the kids at check in, even though we didn't
get in til midnight. They loved it. Location, gym, pool all were very good as
was the service. wish at these rates at least they could throw in free internet.

Overall this was a great hotel. We were there from June 9-11, 2008 and there was
a nice pool (indoor and outdoor). The restaurant downstairs had good food. The
hotel is connected to a mall. This hotel was great and I will stay there when I
go back

We stayed for a week in Vancouver at Four Seasons. The hotel is located in the
downtown just above one of the best shopping centre. The breakfast is very good
with a great variety of fruit and cakes, which also suits the European tastes.
The room is very nice, with a fabulous bed, so comfortable that you would like
to bring it home.
The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean.
A complain is about the swimming pool, which is half indoor and half outdoor.
Some days the weather was too cold for our taste, so not so nice to have a swim.
Also the Wi-fi connection is too expensive.

Customer Service is King here.
Came on a company trip, and was fortunate to stay at the Four Seasons. The hotel
is situated right next to the City Centre Mall and actually has a direct
entrance to the mall.
Located conveniently in the Downtown area, you aren't more than 15-20 minutes
away from any of the "districts" in the Downtown area by foot.
The only drawback is that some of the rooms have an unfortunate view of the
massive construction going on in around town.
I had a slight mishap in my room and after letting the manager know of the small
problem, we were upgraded to a mini suite. Everything about the Four Seasons
says elegant and comfort, from the plush carpeting to the flat screen TV's to
the infamous beds.
This is the only hotel I've seen with 3/4 of a shower door. Sort of an art deco
touch but a nice one at that.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
