we usually stay at either comfort, days or best westerns b/c we can
count on the consistency of clean, well appointed rooms and usually an
included breakfast. However, this comfort inn, although the room was
clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast more than
satisfactory, did not meet up to those standards. the room was on the
small side, although it did have a very comfortable bed, and the
bathroom did have a spa tub. Having just gotten off a ship from a
cruise, the slanting floor of the room made us feel as though we were
still at sea. When we closed one drawer of the bureau, another would
slide open - comedy show! The walls need a paint job and if you are a
light sleeper, the sounds rising from the pub downstairs may keep you up
(we were on the 4th floor and still able to hear). the location is
convenient for good walks and to the bus stops. The price is on the high
side for a comfort inn, but compared to others in the area, it is most
reasonable.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the downtown core. The staff
were nice and helpful and the facilities on site were great. The rooms
were small, but clean and cozy. The breakfast included in the package
was pretty basic though, wish they had a better spread. But the best
part was being able to walk to anywhere within downtown.

This hotel is in a great location on Granville Street with close access
to public transport. bus stops & train stations are within 3-4 minutes
walk.
The hotel accommodation was small, but clean and tidy. It had an iron &
board, Big TV & free wifi Internet connection.
Breakfast is in the pub next door. During breakfast the pub is only open
to hotel residents and you need to give in your voucher which you will
be given when you check in. We were disappointed with breakfast as the
only healthy option was an apple or orange. If you like waffles, bagels
or toast then you'll be ok!
The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We had no issues
calling a cab at 5am!

I stayed here for two nights over Labor Day weekend.
First of all, the location is great. There are a ton of shops and places
to eat within walking distance. I assume this only happens on the
weekend, but Granville Street gets blocked off and it becomes one large
party since there are a bunch of clubs and bars nearby.
The room itself is standard. The sheets are clean and the bathroom is
roomy. The room itself is kind of short though, not leaving much space
between the wall and the bed. It can get noisy at night but make sure to
close your windows and it's not too bad. I think the noise within the
hotel is worse since the walls are on the thin side. I did appreciate
the heavy curtain on the window that kept the room dark in the morning.
It comes with a basic continental breakfast and parking is available
just outside the hotel for a fee. There is a computer in the lobby that
is free for guests to use. The rate is decently priced, but due to
taxes, it gets hiked up quite a bit.
