Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we received a parking ticket in
the hotel car park. This was sorted out. We were in the courtyard annex and our
room was adjacent to the main road and because of the junction this proved to be
very noisy. We should have moved after the first night but didn't, so we had
some disturbed nights. However the hotel was well situated and within close
proximity to all the sites, especially if you want to walk everywhere. We would
probably not stay here again, somewhere in a quieter location would suit us
better, a short journey into town would be preferable to a disturbed nights
sleep.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but it was a surprise to find so many street
beggars in Vancouver.

We stayed here for two nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We
had a room in the Courtyard part. The rooms are fine (no window though) but the
entrance to this separate building is a bit dodgy. You have to cross a very
quite alley which does not feel extremely safe. If you don't mind then that's
fine, otherwise request a room in the main tower.
The location of the hotel is excellent, right on Granville street very near the
main shopping and nightlife district.
Note to the hotel manager: you might want to think about cleaning the outside of
the hotel, it doesn't do justice to your hotel the way it looks now..

This hotel is located on the western side of downtown Vancouver and offers great
views in the tower in any direction. Right on Granville St. this is ideal for
seeing the sights of downtown during the day then hitting all the bars/clubs
right down the street at night. The price is good and they have a good staff
that is helpful with any problems. Parking is right underneath the hotel so it
makes it easy to access. Each time I go to Vancouver I stay here and they even
have a small courtyard area that is great for just walking in and out of your
room not connected to the tower so no waiting for elevators.

My husband and I were returning from a cruise and spent an extra day in
Vancouver. The hotel was conveniently located for our short visit. The staff was
very friendly and helpful in suggestions for things to see in one day and places
to eat. We were able to hop on a city tour bus in front of the hotel and later
walk down Granville St. to enjoy the sights. The room appeared to be newly
renovated and the bed was the most comfortable of our vacation! The price was a
little high but we discovered this was because Saturday is when the cruise ships
come in!

I stayed in Room 909 this past weekend. The room itself was very nice, clean and
convenient as we had a 2 yr. old with us. The room was well layed out that we
could have the baby sleep and we could still visit comfortably in the living
room area. Well, for this, I'm giving a rating of 2.
The hotel lost 3 points because of the non-shower in the morning. The tub faucet
hinted at a great shower with tons of pressure. NOT! As soon as I changed it to
shower, the water ran cold. I tested different positions of the tap, tried hot
only, tried cold only. The temperature to the shower did not match what I had
set it for using the faucet. It was mostly pure cold unless I turned cold right
off, then causing the water to be too hot.
As well, the shower head 'squirted' the water out to spray upwards, almost as if
the head itself was blocked. Finally, after trying and adjusting and doing my
best to make it work, I gave up on a shower. I ended up using the tub faucet to
wash my hair. The whole situation was very annoying, not a great way to start
the day and quite disappointing.
