Guest Review of the the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel

An airline booked a room for me at the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel
when I needed a place to stay due to a delayed flight, so I had no clue
what to expect. The hotel is simple and not the most modern, but it is
clean, quiet, and located conveniently close to the airport. The staff
were very warm, friendly, and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and
there is a business center with complimentary internet access. I had a
tasty dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and the staff there
also were very warm and friendly. The hotel restaurant opens at 6:30
a.m., which is nice for early departing travellers. I would recommend
this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay near the
Vancouver airport.

Stayed here annually since the mid 80's. Staff always friendly and look
to accommodate requests. Rooms are kept up to date. Prices remain
'visitor friendly'. Will continue to stay here. Location is ideal for
people arriving after a long haul flight needing a good sleep to get
over jet lag -- the collect you from the airport 'on demand'. They take
you back to the airport at half hour intervals.

Very comfortable and clean. Not only that, as the moms responsible for
team breakfast, we appreciated the table brought up to our room, without
reminder, which helped us serve our girls much easier. Excellent staff .
Very service oriented and helpful. Evening front desk clerks were really
helpful in helping to figure out parking for one of the team dad's RV
and where we should eat for supper. Urmilla in housekeeping, in
particular, asked to make sure all was good and also helped with extra
garbage bags, etc. to make it easier to serve team food. Hallways were
uncomfortably warm. Rooms were much cooler. Beds really comfortable.
White Spot restaurant was great. Our team needed a late dinner, right
before closing. Restaurant took a last minute preorder after Boston
Pizza refused to deliver based on proximity (order had been prearranged)
I think the White Spot manager's name was Cassandra (?) - offered 5
suggestions for me to ask the girls during their time out - and then she
had all the meals waiting when the girls arrived at 9:40. Made me look
like a star mom! Parents ate at the attached pub restaurant. Again our
server was exceptional, offering honest suggestions for food/wine
selection. Good humor and promptness ... we weren't expecting much and
she definitely added to our experience. Both White Spot and the Pub
restaurant were very reasonably priced and well run.
This is a nice, comfortable hotel with exceptional service. We've stayed
at many hotels with our team and this one was the best yet for friendly,
attentive staff. It's quite remarkable to have such consistently helpful
service from all areas of a hotel: Urmilla in housekeeping,
front desk people working after 5 pm, manager at White Spot, waitress at
Pub Restaurant and also, the sweet Australian woman who took my
reservation, suggested a banquet table to be put in our room for easier
breakfast serving and the staff who made sure it happened without a
reminder. I also observed the hotel manager, when his front desk clerk
was dealing with a parking charge complaint over the phone and two teams
were piling in at the same time, advise his clerk to refund the charge
so as not to make a small issue one that would make us wait to check in
(and probably increased the satisfaction of the customer on the phone).
Would highly recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a clean,
quiet and comfortable hotel room at a reasonable price, with service
that helps make your stay as easy as possible.

I recently stayed overnight on route to another site. My colleague made
the reservation and I must admit on arriving I was apprehensive. The
lobby was unremarkable and the noise outside was strong. I was
concerned.
I expressed my concerns (need for quiet and need for a microwave) to the
'bubbly receptionist' .On arriving at my room I was delighted. It was
really a perfect stay. The room was 445. Exceptional, large, wonderful
sunset and sunrise in room.
caveat,. there was a microwave but nothing to microwave on so i had to
use the ice-bucket to heat my pasta (it was wrapped in foil)
Great reception staff, lots of available parking. A super stay!!
