Guildford Golf & Country Club |
The Guildford Golf and Country Club is a beautiful course
located in the middle of suburban Surrey. This 6502 yard, par 72 championship
golf course has long been considered one of the best courses in the area.
Some of the unique holes at Guildford include the 16th that is referred to as
"Augusta" This hole resembles the famed 12th hole of Augusta National and
includes the stone bridge and watery grave which encompasses 2/3 of the green.
Another great hole is the 13th (new in 2004). A strategic 340yd dogleg left Par
4 played to an uphill triple tiered green, nestled among a grove of fir trees
With winding creeks, a number of lakes and four sets of tees this course is a
challenge for all levels of golfing experience. |
