Robson Square will be open for free public skating, every day at the newly
renovated GE Plaza.

| You can bring your own skates or rent them for $3 on site.
If you aren't confident in your skating ability you can also rent a helmet for
$3. Rentals are free to anyone 12 and under. |

| The facility has been temporarily renamed GE Plaza to
reflect the $700,000 that GE, one of the Olympics' top sponsors, contributed
largely to the renovation process. It helped buy a new refrigeration plant,
expand the rink by more than a third, and install energy-efficient LED lights
The name will remain until the end of the Paralympic Games in March. |
