 Vancouver's Pride began
over 30 years ago as a small march and
has now grown into an internationally recognized parade and festival that
attracts more than 300,000 people.
Pride Week is a time for diversity and anybody who shares the "life is a

| Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday July 31st, 2011 - 12pm |
 The
2011 Pride Parade travels through the downtown core, along Denman Street and
ends at the Sunset Beach Festival. The 150 parade entries include colourful
floats, musical marching bands, community groups and 650,000 spectators.
Pride takes over the streets and rainbows fill our city at the largest one
day event in Vancouver. This is the MUST SEE event of the summer!
