The Abbotsford Airport (YXX) is the home of the Abbotsford International
Air Show!
The Airport is just a short drive from Vancouver (1 hour), or a 2.5 hour
drive from the Seattle Area.
You can also fly in to the show by commercial or private plane.
Directions to Abbotsford Airport
Access to the Abbotsford Airshow is Quick and Easy!
For GENERAL ADMISSION GUESTS, there are two entrances:
1. KING ROAD ENTRANCE is for ALL GUESTS. There are ticket booths here
for both vehicle and Foot Traffic.
2. QUEEN STREET ENTRANCE is for PREPAID TICKET HOLDERS, CAMPGROUND
GUESTS and TRANSIT USERS. There is a Foot Traffic ticket booth at this
entrance.
For VIP CHALET GUESTS:
WALMSLEY GATE ENTRANCE is reserved solely for Chalet Patrons. Please
have your chalet parking pass and chalet tickets available for Gate
Security to check.
This Entrance Closes at 11AM so arrive early!
* From Vancouver and North Lower Mainland (Trans-Canada Route)
Follow Highway #1 to the Clearbrook Rd. Exit (#87), then follow the
signs and police directions to the appropriate entrance.
* From White Rock, Richmond, Delta, Surrey (South Lower Mainland Route)
Follow Highway # 10 to the Langley By-pass. Turn left on Glover Road,
then follow the signs to Highway #1. Follow Highway # 1 to the
Clearbrook Road Exit (#87) then follow the signs and police directions
to the appropriate gate.
* From Maple Ridge, Mission, Agassiz (North Fraser Route)
Follow Highway #7 (Lougheed Highway) to Mission. Turn south onto Highway
#11 crossing the Mission Bridge over the Fraser River. Follow Highway
#11 to Highway #1. Travel west on Highway #1 to the Clearbrook Road Exit
(#87). Follow the signs and police directions to the appropriate gate.
* From Chilliwack, Hope (East Trans-Canada Route)
Follow Highway #1, west to the Clearbrook Road Exit (#87). Follow the
signs and police directions to the appropriate gate.
* From the United States (I-5, Guide Meridian Route)
Follow Interstate 5 to the Guide Meridian (#539) in Bellingham (at
Bellis Fair Mall). Travel north on Guide Meridian (#539) to the Canadian
Border north of Lynden. The Guide Meridian becomes Highway #13. Follow
Highway #13 for 1 mile to 8th Avenue (Huntington Road) then turn right.
Follow 8th Avenue east bound then follow signs and directions of police
to the gate. (Please note - border crossing does not open until 8:00a.m.
For 24 hour alternative use Sumas border crossing.)
* Chalet Patrons
From Highway #1, follow directions to Clearbrook Road exit (#87), then
drive south to Walmsley Road and turn right (west). Please ensure that
your Chalet Pass is clearly displayed on your rear view mirror to enable
proper direction from police and volunteers. |
