This hotel is badly in need of renovation. The ceiling in my room was cracked
and not properly repaired. The floor beside the bed was so damaged and uneven
that it was uncomfortable to walk on.
The included breakfast was advertised to start at 6:30 a.m. (which the desk
confirmed on check-in) yet when I went at 6:30 on the Thursday morning I was
there, the lights were off in the designated area and the coffee urn had cold
coffee in it. When I asked at the desk, the attendant said it would start at
7:00 a.m. He started making coffee and getting things out, so I managed to have
cereal with milk, but none of the hot things, including coffee, were ready by
the time I had to leave at 6:50.
Room Tip: The few outside access ground floor rooms were most popular. The
person who checked in ahead of me said she had requested one with her
reservation two months before, but did not get one.

Did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. It is just old and neglected, plugs in
both sink and tub were broken. Wallpaper hanging from window wall in bathroom.
Having to try to sleep on the pathetic queen hide- a- bed with old white sheets
and one very old thin blanket does not make for sweet dreams but bad memories.
My friend used the bed, but only two pillows for the whole room. The pool and
hot tub are just old, drab, dark and very uninviting A white towel was being used
as a door stopper. Same for the landscaping outside, no one seems to care, no
pride of ownership at all. The breakfast was just barely adequate, totally out
of coffee and had to ask for it.
This hotel is not good value for your dollar and is charging four star rates for
one star quality.
On the positive side - the staff were friendly and smiled a lot.

This motel was clean & a bit run down. It looked as it someone had purchased it
and just hadn't bothered to keep it up. The dresser which had probably held the
tv was missing a door. There were multiple temporary fixes. The nite clerk was
cool and distant tho the am one was friendly!

We decided to stay there because of the standards of the Choice Hotels.
Unfortunately this hotel is far from meeting these standards. Upon entering the
lobby there is a smell ... it stinks. The check-in is going good and the clerk
was so courteous and helpful. We enter in our room and the same smell in the
lobby is found in the room. We open the windows and left the door open to
ventilate the room. Cleanliness is the minimum. My wife suffers from allergies
has trouble breathing. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is to use "eyes closed" not
to see that there is mold around the bath. Breakfast is really the only positive
note of this hotel. |
